Your argument is incredibly flawed, seriously, you yourself are creating a double standard where only women and the oppressed can be proud, thus opressing the opressors. Please, get some logic, seriously.

I’m also incredibly offended that you call it Feminism, why can’t you campaign under something unisex? Breaks my heart man, I just want equality for all, therefore the name should be changed to something that suits all.

TL;DR- Your argument is flawed, please come back when you have a constructive argument to counteract mine.

1.) I didn’t choose the name feminism maybe this will change eventually since it’s such a big issue, regardless of the fact that it is for equality of all.
2.) Why are you proud of your race? I’m not proud of my race, I’m proud that I’m allowed to be black and vote since my grandmother wasn’t afforded this opportunity, I’m proud of the strides my community has made to achieve equality. You can be proud of your race if you want but if there is no substance behind your pride then I don’t see the point. Who is holding you accountable for your ancestors?
3.) Are you arguing that I’m being unfair because you haven’t been oppressed and therefore can’t be proud of overcoming this oppression. Sorry you weren’t oppressed then? Maybe in your next life?

I understand feminism is for both men and women, to be honest I could probably accept it but your not presenting it very well.
When you change the title of the movement to something unisex as men have had to do with many things.. I’ll think about

Yes very funny to be called selfish and to have my personal beliefs announced and attacked unwarranted. Never did I even bring up feminism and my beliefs. There are bad people in all groups.

But in regards to feminism – it is needed world wide.
Obviously in places like india where rape is so common most woman just stay in doors, but also in the western world.

The main reason I admirably support it is because believe it or not we do really need it. As a woman you are laughed at for not looking a certain way which means you have to live up to these ridiculous standards of beauty (some woman are quite lucky but for most of us this means constant upset and self loathing for not looking a certain way) and for us that do reach these expectations we have to withstand a shit load of unwanted attention from men which is often really really intimidating and scary. (some girls like it but its generally a pain in the arse and restricts where you can go)

Its caused by both men and woman but feminism aims to help that and for that I see it as a really really good thing.
