You’re interested in a cunting joke? How can I help?

We definitely need some Psychedelic/Goa Trance!

    ITs ALL ABOUT THE DRUM’N’BASS

I think everyone should turn up with a microphone and all beatbox at the same time, if you don’t have a mike then just use a cardboard roll, eg bog roll or kitchen towel, anyone with a really deep voice should hum basslines and those with pre-pubescant voices can make all the wierd noises.
As to the style/genre produced by everyone, well that would be irrelevant now wouldn’t it.

I mean, if your favourite colour was red are you gonna be attracted to everything red all the time, wear only red clothes and think about redness like it’s undoubtedly what everyone needs, if so call this number 0800-IMA-LOSER. And if you hated a particular colour then surely it’s qualities puts other colours into their likeable perspective and splashes of it here and there can still be appreciated, especially in da mix. Now if you substitute colours for music, should they be percieved much differently in this context.

Ultimately I don’t want anything too dull, same-old or without any individual energy being put into it and when it comes to getting munted the only quality over the years of partying which has been a constant requirement is that the music be electronic in its production – so why not disturb that notion and get some bringin-it on bands into the scene, beatboxing and everything ;D

my favourite number is 23 and I want tekno

Wow. Either this is the forum’s first troll, or it has been hijacked by the glowstick and white glove crew :bounce_g:
    still, it’s all P.L.U.R. to me 🙂

I’m with you on that one but at the same time have you been to a fuckin avin it free party when there was no tekno to be heard or the best sounds over the duration were not tekno?

    :good_evil

Commitment in enjoying your creative interests can help supply that bit of extra vavavoom but what’s the difference between absolute support and devotion, and fascist mentality – I’d say it was partyvibe!

all this techno snobbery is a bit beyond me! for me its all about the D’n’B and jungle plus the deepest reggae for the smokin moments. bit of psy stuff is nice too but its all good as long as its a party yeh?

    supa dupa

Would anyone like to express their preferences as to what kinds of music they would like to hear at parties in Manchester?

(for example, erm, techno, tekno, hard techno, hardcore techno, hard-tek, erm..)

i wud like to see music which made Manchester a pioneer in raves of a warehouse nature. Flowery early house wud be good but seems to be ignored!

    Drum n bass/ Jungle/ Gabber/ Breakbeat/ Electronica / Hardcore (like vortex n sharkey n mark eg)
