But yeah, I’m starting out slow, I told myself I’m not going to drink for a week, which I messed up yesterday because someone mispoured hoegaarden and I couldn’t resist cause I love the stuff. But I’m going to keep trying, I’ve also told my colleages not to serve me 😛
Ha ha, Hoegaarden is nice stuff to be fair. Your manager sounds like one of a dying breed unfortunately, but it’s good to know there are still places out there that are more about the quality of the drink rather than just going for mass-produced shit that makes everyone want to fight.
Sounds like you’re taking some sensible steps to address the issue before it becomes a problem too, very responsible approach to take I reckon – it takes guts to be honest with yourself if you have concerns over a particular facet of your character, good on ya I say!
