In all honesty I don’t think its been a significant period since anout 1986 when I started smoking hash. everyday, even last year when I was in residential care for a bit we were all caining illisit benzos !

These days its mainly the booze but I’m in the proces of trying a taper to Diaz..which may or may nt end up in total dissaster

I’m sure you will be – but defo be careful with this if you have been using significantly and for significant period of time, I’ve seen horrendous withdrawals and seizures from benzo’s so its worth taking your time and tapering off slowly and safely

probs a week and a half to 2 weeks for me without anything but maybe a month and a half if you dont include drink, yeh i no exactly what you mean about the benzos fs it hasnt been that bad for me cus i always try to stop for a few weeks every month or two but a few days after you last take them and they start to leave your system you get really angry over nothing and agitated and insomnia, defo wouldnt like to have to go through it after bein on them for years tho

Whats your longest period of non use then poly??

For me, i find drinking the hardest to go a long time without. it just seems the norm and too acceptable to get pissed atleast once a week. not good
