Yes they are – the Community Drugs Team didn’t believe friends of mine until they tested positive for opium

As for problems is one of the lesser evils and considerably cheaper

No probs with the CDT has my sample is always possitive for opiates:cry:
If I were to buy some, dya just grind them and put them in a tea?

Need a very big saucepan, cut the heads off at the stem and cut the stems into thirds, chuck into saucepan, add kettle full of water and a brick to weigh it all down and put on heat to simmer for about two hours. The longer you simmer it for the better. Does that make sense?

The Brick?

When you pour the water in the whole lot floats so you need to put a (clean) brick to weigh it all down. Always put the heads in first and then the stems on top to try to keep the heads at the bottom.

Just so you’re fully aware some flower shop owners / wholesalers can get a bit suss after a few months 😉

Ask for ‘natural dried poppies’ and make out your a flower arranger
