How to Deal with The Peelers? So, when the old bill turn up at your outdoor party, what is the best tack to take with them? They would rather you not be there, and you want to keep partying. Obviously be civil to them etc, but are there any key pieces of legislation to talk about or areas of the CJB that can work in our favour? Should a person admit that they are the spokesperson for the party? At what point do you accept that you have to shut it down or get you system siezed? Anyone know what North Yorkshire Police's policy is on parties? All advice appreciated.

2007-06-[7-17] Unsound System Presents The Italian Job #4 Ten days of free party on the sandy beaches of Southern Italy!
Location: Basilicata, Italy.
Date: 7-17th June 2007
The party is in Metaponto a little seaside town in the still undiscovered region of Basilicata, in the instep of Italy, which particularly at the beginning of the season is a paradise of long uninterrupted sandy beaches, sandwiched between the clearest of seashores and a natural reserve. All you see for miles is the clear blue of the sea and the sky , the green of the woods and the golden colour of the sand and the sun. Unsand! The position couldn't be better, as each mornings we will be able to see the sun rising over the water (see last year pics for an idea of what it was like). If we are lucky, like last year even the dolphins will come and join us...
This will be the setting for our 240 hours long party.
The event is free!
We'll have music on 24 / 7, a bar serving cold drinks and food, a chill out area with mexican hammocks, toilets+ showers nearby.
Accomodation: There are two campsites 10 minutes walk away in the woods. Prices range from a fiver a night per person and £12.00 per person per night in a self-catering chalet.

School power to search for knives http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/education/6704563.stm
Schools in England have been given the legal right to search pupils who are suspected of carrying knives. Head teachers will also be given guidance on how to use airport-style metal detectors to screen young people.
The guidelines state that a pupil can be refused entry to a school if he or she refuses to be screened.
Education Secretary Alan Johnson said knife-carrying in schools was rare, but it was illegal and a message it would not be tolerated must be sent out.
He told the BBC: "What happens at the moment is that if a teacher suspects a child of carrying a knife they have to call the police and wait for the police to arrive before that child can be searched - unless the child agrees to be searched.
"By that time any weapon they are carrying may have been passed on."
Under the new guidelines trained staff, authorised by the head teacher, would be able to carry out searches.
Crucially, a search should never take place where there is any risk to staff or pupils.
They also explain how best to screen pupils, suggesting that randomly selected groups of pupils could be searched in order to send out a strong message of deterrence.
But it also sets out limits for schools, in that suspicion has to be reasonable and not based on stereotypical images of certain groups of pupils.
Appropriate training
Two members of staff should be present for a search and both must be the same sex as the pupil.
And students can only be required to remove outer clothing, such as coats or jackets.
Mr Johnson said teachers themselves had asked for the powers but added that the main way to keep knives out of our schools is to continue educating young people about the dangers associated with them.
"I think parents will welcome the clear message that bringing a weapon into school is a criminal offence and will not be tolerated."
But he added: "Let's not exaggerate how our schools look at the moment our schools have a very low proportion with any problem at all with pupils bringing in weapons.
"The Youth Justice Board survey told us that, Ofsted told us that and head teachers and teachers tell her that.
"Lets not exaggerate this into saying our schools are some kind of ghetto from central Manhattan or the Bronx."
National Association of Head Teachers spokesman said it was the job of the police to search individuals for weapons.
'Fully prepared'
"They are trained and have the appropriate body armour.
"Our advice to our members will be to call for police assistance should they suspect that a weapon is being carried."
General secretary of the NASUWT union, Chris Keates, welcomed the new powers, but said searches must be conducted properly by appropriately trained staff.
"However, all schools will still need to consider how they will be incorporated into their policies and procedures to ensure that they are prepared fully should the need arise.
"There is a clear role for local authorities and the local police in supporting and advising schools in this process."
The Teacher Support Network said in the past year its support line had handled 175 calls regarding behaviour management, 30% of which were concerned specifically with violence, abuse and threats.
"Giving teachers facing these issues the power to stop and search pupils may make them feel safer at work though schools must exercise extreme caution," a spokesman added.
i'm not likin how much this country is becomin like america. i've been searched in school (for illegal substances) and they had to get a copper in just to search me, fair enough.
i'll encourage me lil bro to turn around and walk home if they wanna search him!123
Outcry over TV kidney competition
BBC News wrote:
A Dutch reality TV programme in which a terminally ill woman will select one of three patients to receive her kidneys has sparked outcry in the Netherlands.
The government has called for the Big Donor Show to be scrapped because it is "wretched" and unethical, according to reports in the Dutch media.
But broadcaster BNN said the aim was to highlight the acute shortage of organ donors in the Netherlands.
It said the show, from the makers of Big Brother, would go ahead as planned.
The 37-year-old donor has been identified only by the name Lisa.
She will make her choice based on the contestants' history, profile and conversation with their family and friends.
Viewers will also be able to send in their advice by text message during the 80-minute show.
The former director of TV station BNN died from kidney failure and spent years on a waiting list for a kidney transplant.
Does this strike anyone as slightly wrong?
I am amazed at what the TV people will come up with as "entertainment" :you_crazy

Apple has been tagging music files bought from ITunes
bbc.co.uk wrote:
News site Ars Technica was among the first to discover that downloaded tracks free of Fairplay have embedded within them the full name and account information, including e-mail address, of who bought them.
It suggested that this information could be an anti-piracy measure as it could help work out who was putting downloads on file-sharing sites.
But it also added that the user information was found on all the tracks that people buy on iTunes whether free of DRM or not.
It was not clear, said Ars Technica, whether the data was part of Apple's administration system for iTunes or something else. It said because the data was easy to spoof Apple needed to explain why the data was present.
