Right one other member on here said "i dont gurn do i", anyone agree with me that everyone gurns? A lot deny it but then they are terrible for it!
I have only ever met one person who doesn't.

Seattle helicopter pilot… A helicopter was flying around above Seattle, when an electrical malfunction disabled all of the aircraft's electronic navigation and communications equipment. Due to the clouds and haze, the pilot could not determine the helicopter's position. The pilot saw a tall building, flew toward it, circled, and held up a handwritten sign that said "WHERE AM I?" in large letters. People in the tall building quickly responded to the aircraft, drew a large sign, and held it in a building window. Their sign said "YOU ARE IN A HELICOPTER." The pilot smiled, waved, looked at his map, determined the course to steer to SeaTac airport, and landed safely. After they were on the ground, the co-pilot asked the pilot how he had done it. "I knew it had to be the Microsoft Building, because they gave me a technically correct but completely useless answer."

Is "Neo-puritanism/authoritarianism" becoming a danger to the world? I've been closely monitoring social/political developments across the World for about 10 years now, and am becoming worried at some of the things I am seeing - not even so much from politicians (who are corrupt and self-serving the world over) but from the people in various countries.....
after all most Western (and even many Eastern) nations do have some sort of election and a range of candidates)
people are worried about extreme right parties getting more and more votes worldwide but I don't think that the kind of "old-style fascism" (i.e white skinheads marching in the street) is the real threat to the future... globalisation has made immigration and travel a vital part of the world market economy and that isn't going to disappear..
what is the real threat IMO is the "normal people" voting in by their own free will governments which reverse the "permissive society" gains of the 1960s to 1990s and re-introduce a lot more authoritarian/puritan controls on society (but those which would still allow the market economy to operate)
what does everyone else think?
