They are remarkably similar to their Western counterparts; not surprising as much of the cheap bling and fake branded goods comes from China; and can be bought by the tray-load very cheaply in markets all over Malaysia and Singapore.
Incidentally were it not for my fear of needles I probably would have got a dragon tattoo a few years back. Just as well I did not.
Solstice success Despite the failure of our phone (12 years of doin this and still f**ked up).
The Monkey Business solstice celebration had a good turn out, including the sun which stayed all weekend. Big shout to Ryan who came the furthest all the way from Derby.
So great fun had by all, have a look yourself, find photos of the Assualt Team and friends at http://www.weirdbeat.com/monkeybusiness.html and a write up of events at http://blog.myspace.com/watsyweirdbeat
Now to planning our next party........
we have a date 19th August, watch this space for more info as we work it out.

Yes I know this is in the wrong forum but the events section tryed to tax me money to enter my event! What happened to freedom of speech comrades? lol
Laws on music at home Bacically a mate has had a barn restored, got all the permission n all that bollox n its turned out quite nice.
Couple of weeks later he happened to get a set of decks and a couple of 4 feet tall speakers. Nothin too over the top.
Turns out space was a bit limited in his gaff n he put them inside the barn, with mates going for a little fuk about on them once a week n getting it all out in the garden for a BBQ once a month, (Keeping the volume to a minimum)!
Now it turns out 1 of the pricks down the road as contacted someone (APPARENTLY) n my mate has recieved a letter saying the barn may not be used as a music studio........
WHAT THE FUKING FUCK??????????
Who said anything about a studio???
At the end of the day the barn has been converted into a bedroom and people left right n center have decks in their room, with no trouble at all!
Any ideas what the score is with these laws???
FREEDOM2PARTY I have just set up a yahoo site :
http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/freedom2party/
Sign up cause there is no money involved, just another way of advertising free raves, or whatever.
Best we hot it up really, till we get banned...No porn though (unless its good stuff).
Lets see where we can take it and get the parties moving again.
I will be posting and researching activity in between my 10,000 other things I have to do. But what I hope to do is leak some information about good sites, fields etc. Some with permission from land owners, and some miles from nowhere. We can all help here...
Lets have another 'explosion'....Back in the days we were moving so fast that the police never bothered much with the free, smaller raves. The law says you gotta keep 'em busy!
If the site fails I will quietly shrink back under my stone.
Cheers Chaps..http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/freedom2party/
DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN RAVE MGNT? :omg: We are looking for people to contribute in a big outdoor event scheduled for next summer, year 2007.
We have a huge site in Oxfordshire, (many acres, miles from any residential dwellings) - We are planning a 'traditional' massive scale, highly promoted, one off weekend rave over a bank holiday.
We dont anticipate any major hassle from the authorities as we are going to adhere to the basic H&S guidelines and we will have medics/ambulance staff on site for the duration.
The set has not been put together yet but we are looking for the following people as a guide, but any other professional personnel may also be required, please come forward.
Security Staff - Bouncers - Dog Handlers - Fair Ride Operatives - DJ's & Rigs - Litter Pickers - Ticket Collectors / Turnstyle Operators - Traders/Dealers - Flyer Distributors / Promotors
If you can provide any of these resources and more please contact me in the first instance through the Yahoo Group, http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/freedom2party/
This will be a ticket only event, with location details on the number advertised on the ticket. If we pull it off successfully it should be the biggest rave party in the South of England this decade - lets get working on it now.
