A crack down on illegal raves is underway with extra police officers on duty to carry out patrols in potential trouble spots.
Some planned events in Suffolk were foiled ahead of the Easter Bank Holiday and in Bury St Edmunds several arrests were made as an event was being set up.
Suffolk Police are asking people to make early reports of suspected events.
Supt Mike Shields said some events have been stopped before they got under way but they know others are being planned.
Police say they will search anyone attending a rave for drugs and will seek evidence of illegal drinking.
"We are taking this operation very seriously because of the dangers to public order and the welfare of those taking part," Supt Shields said.12

just wanted to let u know there was a 3 day multi rigger near us in Czech Republic over the bank hol weekend, it was Witches Night here on Sunday nite. friend of one of our english students organised it. was entirely legal with co operation from local Sokolov council and police. on a small airfield high in local hills, at about 3000 feet so a bit cold at night. amazing huge German and Czech rigs rinsing out tough as fuck techno breaks and d n b. really positive reporting in press, police well chilled just there to direct traffic, none on site. lots of little planes flying low to get a good look.
election time here comin up, people reckon after the bloodbath at czech tek last august the gov. want to appear fluffy so as not to lose a lot of votes.
anyway free parties haven't been wiped off the planet everywhere.

Trolls Ive just posted a small part about trolling not being tollerated and that if people are being trolled or have info that they should approach one of the mods who in turn should discuss this the Admins to take relevant action.
