Bad Taste Sound System First Outing a Success I am pleased to report that the first outing for the Bad Taste crew in Northern Ireland was a complete success, a great night was had by all. Due to the constraints of the site (it is used by dog walkers etc) the party was limited to one night, so all the debauchery of a 2-3 day festival had to be compressed into 12 hours. The rig was set up and ready to go by midnight and the party rocked it well into the Sunday morning until the police arrived at about 11.30am and ordered us to pack up. Most of the people at the party were getting ready to leave by then so we packed up and headed home. Cheers to everyone who turned out, it was a difficult site to get to without a car so a lot of effort was put in by everyone. Details of the next party will be released soon, watch this space.

RAVER AT HOUGHTON RAVE (Hear the truth) I'd like to add a different perspective from a raver at this rave. I was at this Free Party near houghton hall. Firstly i know the crews (There was 2 sound systems) and there is no way any mess was left as i with many others helped clear it up the day after. Secondly the atmosphere there was amazing everybody chillin on the same level babblin rubbish to anyone, if you where asked to leave this was not by a raver. The owner/Farmer had blocked the entrance with his 4x4, at the beginning of the night, the convoy managed to get through before he could block it off, eventually he managed. At which point ravers found alternate routes (mainly straight across a field) to get to the party. He soon gave in an by 4 in the mornin people where gettin in no probs. As for the noise we where deep in a wood with trees for at least a mile square, about 5 houses in close proximety to the sound system, so i find it very hard to beleive it kept you up all night espeically considerin the music didn't start until late, about 3 was when they turned it up. And if this still isn't enough evidence for you well read the Tuesday 3rd May 2005 EDP, one of the rigs at houghton hall was at this party as well, it made front page news with a lovely photo of ravers picking up rubbish.
Lost Wallet at Reclaim the Future My wallet went walkies at the Reclaim the Future party over the weekend so I was wondering if any of the people that organised it/had rigs there posted on here and would let me know if it was found.
Cards have been cancelled and money wrote off, but there is always more in a wallet than just your monies isn't there.

"Several raves across the east of England had neighbours calling the police to try to restore calm.
Thousands are thought to have attended the illegal parties at the weekend.
An unlicensed rave near Santon Downham, on the Norfolk/Suffolk border in Thetford Forest began on Saturday and continued on Sunday.
Alexandra Jarvis, of Litlington, Cambs, said a nearby rave was "noisy, disturbing, and frustrating", especially when police would not act.
She told BBC Look East she called police at 0230 BST on Sunday and was told there was nothing they could do.
She was advised to call the local Environmental Health department on Monday morning.
"But the ravers would be gone by then, so the noise levels could not be measured," she said.
More than 400 people were still inside the barn at Litlington, near Royston, on Sunday morning.
Summer is the season for raves and with its close proximity to London, the region is a popular venue.
'Good-natured' ravers
There was another rave at Wolverton Woods at Dersingham, Norfolk, which is part of the Crown Estate and a smaller gathering in Northamptonshire.
Police said they try to disperse revellers before a party starts, but admit that once it is under way the numbers involved and the lack of any criminal offences being committed make it hard for them to act.
Police described the rave in Thetford Forest, with more than 1,000 revellers, as "good-natured and friendly."
Ms Jarvis said: "I never want to be seen as a party pooper, but it is very disturbing at night to hear a noise going on and on and on." "
