Free Party Against the G8 – Scotland July 2005 hi everyone!
this is my first time on this site but i've got exciting news for all Free Party People.
the G8 Summit of the world's most powerful leaders (inc Blair & Bush) are meeting at Gleneagles Hotel, Perthshire, Scotland from 6th to 8th July next year. Airforce 1 is expected to touch down at Edinburgh airport and the word's most dangerous man (is Mr Bush a terrorist?) will be on Scottish soil.
up here in Scotland, we're not too happy about this. luckily for us, they've picked a very rural spot for this year's summit (although the roads around Gleneagles are very good) which means that we'd like to invite you ALL to the biggest free party scotland's ever seen!!
in fact the Free Party Against the G8 is going to be held in a number of locations around the G8. there'll be an 'Alternative Village' set up (camping, clean water, food, sanitation0 for all protesters headin up here. there'll be a big party within the Village (safety in numbers) but as well as this we've heard from people with rigs 'down south' who intend to set up wherever they fancy at the time. so lots of choice and we're planning to put on coaches to take free party people to the demos etc that are also planned.

lincoln free parties recently come up to lincoln uni from reading and really missing the free parties, there must be some that happen in all these fields- someone must go to some free parties in the lincolnshire area, please help in need of a damn good stomp!- although went to the swindon party on sat(was back home) fuckin ace til piggies turned up!

Portable mp3 players… What do you think of them? Which one do you have and is yours flash or hard disk based? I personally rate my iriver for being able to pick up the radio and record through a digital line-in straight to mp3 (nice!). Having said that the ipod is nice too even if it costs more...
TH : Thailand wants tourists! just seen on the BBC news that now the Tsunami damage is slowly being repaied, citizens of Thailand are becoming concerned because many Western tourists think the place is still trashed and most of the revenue they expected isn't materialising as people aren't holidaying over there any more..
Although [as my family are from SE Asia] I have been critical in the past few years of SE Asia being used as a "Westerners playground" (particularly as some people travel there for questionable reasons such as more lax controls on prostitution and drugs [caused by poverty and police corruption, not by "liberated minds"], I think now is a time when people could embark on socially concious tourism to these area.
One particularly good thing I have seen on here is the Greenspirit festival - organised in Germany this was cancelled due to the tsunami but the resources already in Thailand which were intended for the festival were diverted towards the rebuilding effort.
This actually built valuble bridges (perhaps even literally?!) between East and West; and now the Thai authorities are much more welcoming to mutually beneficial non-exploitative tourism; an even better Greenspirit is planned soon..
we need more stuff like this...

SOLSTICE CELEBRATION – 21ST JUNE 2005 Summer is almost upon us and Brighton Alliance of Sound Systems (BASS) will
be celebrating the longest day of the year with a samba parade from Dalton's Bastion
(opposite the Volks Tavern - east of Brighton Pier), led by Barulho samba band, to
the Banjo Groyne on Madeira Drive.
Gather from 8pm. The procession will embark on its journey at 8.30pm.
The evening will culminate in a profusion of sound and visual effects aided
by firedancers courtesy of Trickswap, carnival costumes, laser and visual
projections and ambient sounds all set to a backdrop of Brighton's very own
'Stonehenge'.
Brighton Alliance of Sound Systems (BASS) is a non profit making
organisation dedicated to producing free events for the local community
of Brighton and Hove.12

I used to go out raving a lot 'back in the day' and beleive it or not at the ripe old age of 26! i've got my second wind for the proper party vibe....i used to go to the Exodus raves and a few other squatt partys so i know what it's all about.
Anyway does anyone know of a party this weekend or the next coming weeks?...and if so being out of the loop how do i find out for myself without posting crap messages like this! Cheers....by the way theres a free beer in it!
can you do anything against teeth gnashing? i enjoy doing pills and mdma, but i am a huge chewer, i grind my teeth muchmore than any of my friends, is there anything simple I can do or take to reduce this?
