G8–Our Agenda – "Our World Working For All Of Us" G8--Our Agenda - "Our World Working For All Of Us"
This gathering could turn out to be the biggest ever, bigger than
Woodstock or the Isle of White both in size and significance – an
ocean of humanity expressing the cry from deep in the heart of our
generation for a better way of running the anthill that is our global
culture – each of us a drop in that ocean
"Each and every drop entering the ocean immediately becomes the ocean"
Why are we demonstrating at the G8?
What is it really all about?
What do we realistically hope to achieve?
What is possible in the realpolitik?
Africa, global warming, third world debt, Iraq etc are only
symptoms, a metaphor for what we are all dissatisfied about..
Africa and the other issues expose the lack of integrity that is
driving and has driven global behavior for thousands of years both in
the macro of global trade and in the micro of our individual
relationships with each other.
When I look in the mirror, I can see all the garbage of this world
operating within me also as I conduct my life in the daily scramble
to survive another day on this spinning lump of rock.
How do I interact with my neighbors and friends? - Global peace
begins right here with me and then spills out radiating throughout
the global culture.
The beauty of these times is that there is no escape from this
reality anymore. Extinction is the only way out. Either we face our
issues individually and globally or our civilisation will cease to
exist.
Live 8 @ the G8 is the heart of the people crying out for something
different, a new way of operating. Each of us is a single blade of
grass cracking the concrete. This has been building for a long time
since the first wave in the sixties -- it now comes of age.
It is important that we operate in this situation with the
consciousness of "the journey is the destination"
The issues that we are addressing are ignorance - fear, selfishness,
and the resulting dishonesty. What is important is that we understand
that this is an evolutionary moment; it is in innocence, that the
human race is where it is.
Down from the trees, but not yet walking upright. We are monkeys
barely out of the jungle squeezing this amazing civilisation out of
the rocks.
We must move beyond finger pointing, blame, and demonisation. Move
beyond "protesting against" to "demonstrating FOR"
Say Yes2Peace
http://www.infinitepossibility.org/yes1/index.html
We must leave the "Them and Us" paradigm back in the second
millennium where it has already created too much havoc. The time has
come for us to move together in partnership for:
"Our
world working for all of us without exception"
In my opinion, this is what we are demonstrating about.
****** If we go to Edinburgh with hatred, negativity and blame in
our hearts and minds, we will be part of the problem, not the
solution. The result will be more of the same if not
worse.********
""You can take a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink"
BUT ………. You can sprinkle salt in its food.
We must truly "BE THE CHANGE that we want to see in the world" – BE
IT NOW!
Each and every breath – Remember, honey is sweeter and more
attractive than vinegar.
We are Dancing our Dream of a better world Awake into Reality.
Bring CHALK to Edinburgh – express yourselves for all to see. Bring
extra CHALK to share with others:

mushroom legal test run http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/3920207.stm
the last sentence is interesting
Psyche Deli had received a ruling from Customs and Excise saying that the sale of fresh psilocybe mushrooms was liable for VAT.
the hassle sellers have recieved has only been on certain patches, mainly in cities. I sincerely hope that this does not eventually cause a law that will stop the millennial long practice of collecting liberty caps on dartmoor. that would suck.
Could be time to quickly learn how to create a big bank of spores to keep yourselves amused...
Dr Werp’s Magic Kidson Nut/C asing Formula
and Layman’s Guide to legally mass producing Ecuadorian Cubensis mushrooms for peanuts in the UK.
(Disclaimer Dr Werp is not a real doctor)
e=mush2
Where:
e= Number of Ecuadorian Cubensis mushrooms produced.
m= Level of Mycological enthusiasm.
u= Underlying components (financial resources £50 up to >£200 x access to a town with a head shop, an organic foodstore, and a Wilkinsons).
s= Level of understanding of the term “Sterile Environment”. (S principle)
h= House (amount of space available therein x level of control over the temperature of house).
£60 cost for 60lb of fresh mushroom produced method.
Step One: Purchase an Ecuadorian Cubensis Mushroom Grow kit from the net or you local head shop (£20). Go to Wilkinson’s and buy a black square plastic box about twice as large as the plastic grow kit box with a lid to fit that is of the translucent/clear plastic., some of their smallest transparent food storage boxes (square), a squirty spray gardening bottle, lots of vermiculite, some new sponges, a bottle of bleach, and a couple of bags of wild bird seed and find some brown rice flour from a health food shop (total £20) .
Step Two: Follow the instructions on the grow kit regarding the water spray, bleach, plastic box etc. Your terrarium is the black box with its translucent lid which has some small holes drilled / pierced in it. Do not pick these mushrooms until they have spored and collect the spores in the following method: use l ight to try to get the mushrooms to spore over the pool of water which will coat the water with a dark film / use foil to collect spores which fall on the grow kit.
Collect about as many spores as would represent approximately the average application of caviar to one slice of toast, by skimming the water surface, and removing the spores which have coated the foil with water . Collect the spores in water in a jar or other suitable container remembering S principle. We will now refer to this as the Trillion Spore Suspension.
Step Three: Do what you feel is sensible with the mushrooms according to UK law.
Step Four: Using the formula of :
0.35% brown rice flour to 1% vermiculite which has all been sterilised by heating repeatedly to 150 degrees centigrade in an over plus a couple of spoonfulls full per incubation box of Wilkinson’s Wild Bird Seed (Nut) which has been boiled and then sterilised by heating repeatedly to 150 degrees centigrade in an oven.
And after letting what we will now refer to as the Substrate Matter cool down you will now make an Inoculation Sandwich. For this you will need to fill the small transparent food storage box by following Step Five.
Step Five; Remembering the S principle fill the boxes with an inch of dry vermiculite
Then spoon on an inch of Substrate Matter.
Stir the Trillion Spore Suspension and then pour enough into the box to make the contents a bit soggy. Fill the rest of the box with dry vermiculite (Casing). Put the lid on the box. Wrap the box in silver foil and put it somewhere warm and dark .
You have now created your Inoculation Sandwich . Leave it be for a whale, keep it warm and dark, and check it after a week or so.
Create as many Inoculation Sandwich boxes as possible. When they are at a stage where when you unwrap the silver foil you can see that fine white threads and a white spiky “mould” (mycelium) have formed over most of the surface you are nearly read for Step 6.
Go to Wilkinsons. Buy some really big black storage boxes and both black opaque and translucent box tops. Buy lots of the underlying components for the Substrate Matter. (all £20)
Make several Giant Incubation Sandwiches, which is the same as an Inoculation Sandwich but it is huge and this time using double the Nut. Put a small food storage box containing water in the corner to generate humidity. Insert pecies of the Colonised Substrate Matter from the small Inoculation Sandwich boxes into the Giant Incubation Sandwiches. Pour on some dry vermiculite Casing up to a couple of inches deep. Cover with black opaque top and leave somewhere warm until colonised as per step 5.
Step 6: Remove black opaque lid, replace with pierced translucent lid. Put a small food storage box containing water in the corner to generate humidity. Add two inches more Casing and treat as per Step Two remembering the importance of humidity and aeration etc. You now have a limitless and infinitely sustainable method for mass producing Ecuadorian Cubensis mushrooms, most Psilocybe mushrooms, and trillions of spores.
Step 7: Study Enthnomycolgy, and ensure that before the UK government changes the law on the sale of Cubensis grow kits, mushrooms, and spores, you understand the importance of having available a trillion trillion Cubensis spores, of all variety, for future microscopical research etc.
Step 8 : Do not abuse the mushroom.
so get busy ;)

The Fishtank presents at tribute to Fat Bob Harley on 29 July at The Albert
The Fishtank calls a reunion of the old crew for one more trip to the undersea world.
On Friday 29 July we celebrate the life and music of Fat Bob Harley, creator of the legendary clubnight and we also remember Mr "E" our friend and staunch supporter. Having lost both of these much loved friends early in their lives we bow out of 10 years of club promoting with one last glorious uplifting event in their honour.
DJ's Simon Eve (Recharge), Jonty (Fishtank resident) & Funkimunki will be dropping Fishtank classics made famous by Fat Bob plus fresh sounds of their own. For the last time the venue will be transformed the into aquatic wonderland unique to The Fishtank and we welcome VJ's [sic] Graffix & denisecallender.com who bring visuals with a twist to our undersea world. Any Fishtank night would not be complete without the Mermaids on stage, refreshing free fruit and of course we'll be packing a kicking sound system and stunning light show.
Tickets are on sale now and all profits from the night will go to Ability Counts, an FA programme associated with Fat Bob's beloved Spurs, providing sports coaching and equipment to disabled children. Many thanks to the venue, suppliers, DJ's, VJ's and dancers who have all provided their services.
