Black out drunk nearly every time…..how do you invoke moderation?! Aternoon!
Cut a long story short,whenever (well, a good 80% of the time) I drink,which has been a lot less recently I end up going so extreme I black out and have these crazy nights.
In theory it sounds funny,mates call me a legend say they love my drinking stories but I'm starting to feel like I could be pretty close to seriously hurting myself soon. It's like even my crazier friends have limits and boundaries I just have literally none when it comes to anything,mbooze,drugs, sex.
I don't want to stop drinking but I do want to moderate what I consume,I just don't seem to have the willpower. It's like one drink becomes 2 which becomes three which becomes shots etc. Add to the fact I have a very addictive personality I end up going on these drug binges of coke and Mandy when I get pissed and nights regularly end up at running costs of 200 - 300 quid a time. I did have issues with cocaine a couple of years ago but got over that by stopping completely which was so hard but I feel with the booze that's creeping back into my life too.
Its started coming to a head recently when I was so drunk I spent 200 on class as and couldn't remember even buying them, and then this weekend went on a date with a guy remember nothing half way through until we are back at mine doing lines :-( I've put off blokes on dates by being so crazy,I've missed important friends bdays wtc coz I've been too hungover and I just hate the fact I can't control myself.
mini vent there,apologies but I'm just upset I can't seem to stop,I guess what I'd be intrigued in is to what extent others have experienced these issues and how you've managed it? I struggle to go out and not drink but at same time I don't want to become a recluse!

I originally posted this on the cocaine forum but I didn't realise there was a forum specifically for drugs research! Apologies for posting it twice and if you've already read it, I couldn't see anything that would allow me to delete the thread.
My name is Lucy, I’m a postgraduate student at Durham University completing a Master’s degree in the School of Applied Social Sciences. I’m interested in exploring the social and cultural acceptability of cocaine use for my dissertation and it would be very much appreciated if you are interested in taking part.
If you are over 18 and have taken cocaine at least once in your lifetime, it would be great if you are happy to take part in interviews. The interviews can take place in any way you would prefer: via instant messaging for example on Skype, via email or via private messaging on this forum.
If you are interested, please send me a private message or reply to this forum message stating you have read and understood this information sheet and that you give your consent to participate. I will then arrange with you how and when the interview will take place. It shouldn’t take longer than thirty to forty minutes but you are welcome to spend as long as you like.
All participants will be completely anonymous as I will disguise the names of the forum and your usernames, any email addresses or other names e.g. Skype names with pseudonyms in the dissertation. You can withdraw from the research at any time or refuse to answer any questions without giving a reason.
Before you decide, you are welcome to contact me at any time to ask questions and discuss the project. You can contact me with your questions at any time during the research by replying to this forum message, by PM or by email at l.f.cordell@durham.ac.uk. It would be useful to get an idea of people's views on this topic so I was thinking to also turn this thread into a discussion about the topic. Feel free to contribute even if you're not a cocaine user, any replies will be appreciated.
Firstly, I was wondering whether people here regard cocaine as a very harmful drug or do you think it can be taken in a sensible fashion so that any risks and harms are minimised?
I'm also interested to know people's views on the popularity of cocaine.Do you think in recent years that cocaine has grown in popularity and become more socially acceptable among young adults? Would you say the image of cocaine as a drug has changed at all?

Just had a snap CDT should i be worried? On friday at about 11 at night i took 0.4 gram of mkat not sure what the correct name for it is, when i got to work monday i had to give a urine sample as part of a CDT, just wondering if i should worry much since its been just over 3 days exactly.
When i found out i had one i drank about 1 litre of water, waited around for the CDT but needed to piss anyway, after i pissed i drank another litre of water, ate some food, went back in did the test, i had to pour a little urine into a machine that firsts test how diluted your urine is , i was told mt urine was so diluted i ONLY just passed for it to be sent off and tested, anyway any info is much appreciated thanks
UK : England/Wales cops admit enforcing cannabis laws deprioritised due to costs… Also changing social attitudes they cannot stop people on the street for being "young/non-white in a public place" as much as they once did - thus reducing further the figures for small possession offences. TBH even in the 90s cops in London and suburban areas often gave the impression that if you weren't trying to be a plastic gangster and involved in any other crime that cannabis (and even small amounts of class A party drugs) were no big deal...
