ACID power today? hi everyone,
I'm a bit new to UK, however I'm not new to drugs.
I'd like to take acid again...
the problem with acids in Poland, the place I come from
is that they are getting weaker and weaker and you cannot really tell how to dose.
The recent peak of acid ammount in paper about 10 years, when
it took 1/3 of square to shoot you out high enough to see yourself from above
now quite often 1 square is not enough.
that's how the things are in my country
Is that the same in UK?
Do acids get weaker and weaker?
Are there any currently recommended types (like cats or wizards or hoffman bikerides?)
thanks for any comments

"Prevent the Unjust Banning of Psilocybe Fungi" hi everyone,
there's a change in UK law coming in. bad one.
Especially considering recently acclaimed report of EU current strategy on drugs, showing that the prohibitive and penalizing laws on drugs cause more harm than it reduces.
you know what to do,

drugs legislation: ‘when, not if’ http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/if/4152375.stm
The chances are that most of us will live to see drugs prohibition replaced with a system of regulation and control.
By 2020, if Transform's timeline is right, the criminal market will have been forced to relinquish its control of the drug trade and government regulation will be the norm.
can we really wait this long?
With regard to tobacco, gambling and drinking, both John Reid and Tessa Jowell have clearly stated recently that prohibition doesn't work.
A useful question to ask is: what are the successful commodity prohibitions of the last hundred years?
If you are struggling to remember any successful prohibitions, it may be because there are none.

US and UK domestic and foreign policy are now intimately intertwined with prohibition.
With regard to domestic policy, prohibition identifies convenient scapegoats and drug-war enemies to rally the electorate around.
Many law enforcement agencies have an investment in prohibition.
Prison builders, police, customs, CIA, MI5, and the FBI are funded to a great extent to fight the war on drugs
The drug war is also enormously useful to the US in continuing its adventures in foreign countries in which it has an interest - see Latin America, Afghanistan, the Middle East, south east Asia and the Caribbean.
Global prohibition is enforced through the UN (for which read US). It is supported by more than 150 UN member states, many of whom - including the UK - do not wish to fall foul of the US.
it's going to be a long road if we have to wait for the US administration to start acting in the interests of it's own citizens, let alone those of the rest of the world.
Calling underground producers … HomeSounds is a collective that's being set up to play locally produced Bristol electronic music.
We've found that what keeps a lot of music producers off the dancefloor is that it's difficult to get a distributer, and doing a vinyl press is expensive. This means that a lot of the wonderful electro that gets produced never gets heard.
Instead of playing commercially produced records, the playlist will consist exclusively of homegrown Bristol material that people send in to us. So far, the playlist contains a nice bit of dub, some breaks and some dum and bass, but we want stuff from all genres to make an eclectic night. It's a kind of open-access playlist. Our DJs will have the task of stitching it together on the night, using various bits of technology.
There will be a one-off HomeSounds night around mid-March. If it's successful we'll do some more. So ... why are we announcing it when we haven't got a date yet? Because we need your music. If anyone has original material that hasn't had a national distributer, see the site: www.homesounds.org. We want everything from hip hop to techno. We can't guarantee to play it, but we'll listen to it and try to fit it in.
Hopefully, we can make a real homegrown electronic music night, for people who want to dance to it, and for people who make it. Electro lovers can hear marvellous sounds they have never heard before, and producers can get to a new audience.
TO SEND US MUSIC, or for an update on the night, see www.homesounds.org and go to 'send us music'.

UK: Facing the music over rodent rave experiments – September 2002 Squatters quit flats for festival
By Evening News 24 - Thursday September 5 2002
Copyright: Evening News 24
NORWICH'S nomadic squatters have left their latest adopted home to go on an extended period of partying and travelling.
Just three of the self-styled Community Collective are still staying at a block of empty flats on Brunswick Road. But they are due to leave on Friday, the deadline set by the housing association who own the building.
The other 22 members moved all their belongings out before the bank holiday and went to a festival en masse. After that it appears they have spent some time travelling around England.
Nearly a fortnight ago the collective was issued with another eviction order from the county court just over a week after being kicked out of Pym House on Unthank Road.
However, the owners, the Swan Housing Association, gave them a two week breathing space to find alternative accommodation.
According to one member they are still on the look out for a place, preferably a big house that will contain all 25 members of the collective.
"When all the others come back we will have to move to somewhere else, maybe to another squat. We have always wanted to remain together as a collective rather then be split up," he said.
"People have gone to a festival and have taken pretty much all their stuff with them. It's very quite just now, just me playing my tunes."
Their short stay at Pym House ended in a high-profile stand-off with authorities which resulted in an impromptu rave. They left only when police officers broke in through the back door. But this time round the collective have decided to leave peacefully.
"It's a bit difficult to make a protest with just the three of us. We will definitely be leaving on Friday," the anonymous member added.

Let’s get in contact!! I'm looking for independent Internet newspapers, in english.
In return, I can provide a few in french:
www.homme-moderne.org (plpl=pour lire, pas lu)
www.acrimed.org (action critique des medias)
www.samizdat.net
indymedia
cqfd (ce qu'il faut détruire)
and I quite like www.monde-diplomatique.fr, although it can hardly be called independent... actually, its really nice, cause many modern researchers and sociologists contribute...
