You may have snaffled a load of laxatives instead of pills by mistake with terrible results, you may have puked on your boy/girlfriend's pillow when you came home wasted, you may have blagged your way onto the decks and nicked a set off a big name DJ, you may have snorted a line of Ajax by accident.
So yeah, I'm after some real filth and shock value....... help me out!

Peace

Dj Keoki in Tucson with VanDeBelle Feb 19 18+
Cal productions. City Limits and Dj VanDeBelle bring you
DJ VANDEBELLES ALL STAR BIRTHDAY BASH
WITH SPECIAL GUEST SUPERSTAR DJ KEOKI
ALONG WITH
Stimulation(Surreal)
Rhinox(Surreal/www.djrhinox.com)
Dj VanDeBelle invites YOU to his birthday party. He will be breaking it down for you on HIS birthday and giving YOU the presents with the release of his all new CD WINTER 2004. This will be the ONLY chance to get this in Arizona.
Along with Special guest:
Keoki:As resident DJ at Manhattan's infamous limelight he was the center of
the club kid phenomenon and on the cutting edge and all that was new in
electronic music. The rave scene in America was born and Keoki, as one
of the first travelling DJ's, was thrust in to the spotlight. The former
baggage handler was soon jetting m first class, to perform worldwide.
He discovered dramatic new ways to keep the crowd in the palm of his
hand. He was a sonic slight of hand of which funk could meet punk, and
where a barking Scooby Doo would mix perfectly with a ranting Jimmy
Swaggert, all underscored by an electronic beat.
A hook-up with Moonshine Music led to the release of a series of top-selling
DJ mix albums (Superstar DJ Keoki - All Mixed Up; Disco Death Race 2000)
along with his originally produced Ego Trip album. Over a decade later,
at the beginning of a new millennium and with over half a million
records sold, Keoki is still draws the biggest crowds in electronic
music.
Keoki has since left Moonshine and has two releases out on Cleopatra
Records, a non-stop mix of mash-up hits entitled "Kill the DJ" and "KeokiClash"
featuring music from the feature film "Party Monster" which he is
portrayed in.
with local support from: The disco man himself Stimulation, one of Tucsons up and coming talents both behind the decks and in the studio
also featuring:Rhinox, he will be giving out copies of his new CD Cybertron Wars
doors open at 8 p.m
Max Graham live at city limits March 11 2004 Tucson Az 18+ Thursday March 11th 2004
City Limits Nightclub and Dj VanDeBelle present
An evening with Max Graham(worldwidemanagment/www.alliancemusicgroup.com)
with special guests:
Dj VanDeBelle(Surreal/Knothole)Vs Dj Rhinox(www.Djrhinox.com/Surreal)
these two will be getting the night started with a 3 hour 2x4 that is sure to get the party rockin. This is the first time these two done this so get ready for some new tricks.
In 2001, as Kinetic records announced they chose the relatively unknown Max Graham to mix the fourth installment of the Transport mix CD, the music industry listened.
Following such heavy hitters as Paul Oakenfold, Dave Ralph and Sandra Collins, this subsequent mixed CD proved that Kinetic saw early talent in this artist. The glowing reviews supported the label's intuition.
That year saw Max hit #23 in the coveted DJ Magazine Top 100 - the highest new entry. While Nick Warren proclaimed Max was going to be a worldwide success after hearing just a taste of his production work, Paul Oakenfold himself called and invited the artist to join him on tour dates through the US to Ibiza after hearing him play just once.
Max's original songs have been chosen to grace the mix CDs of the best in the business, including Tiesto and former tour-mate Oakenfold. 'Airtight' was #1 on the coveted Balance pool chart and nominated for a Juno Award - the Canadian version of the Grammy. He's remixed for Hooj Choons, Delerium, Uberzone and many others.
On the performance side, Max has made an impression on a global scale. Pumping melodic progressive to chunky bassline house, Max knows how to get the hands in the air without going down the traditional roads. "I love to play anything that has energy and commands attention, a lot of music can get boring quickly, I need a sound that keeps moving and changing over the night". Holding impressive stylistic diversity - his unique style of mixing and scratching has become a worldwide trademark with regular gigs in Asia, Australia, Europe and residencies with Spundae in Los Angeles and San Francisco. In addition, Max's bimonthly SHINE Residency at System Soundbar in Toronto and Aria in Montreal has been gaining momentum since its inception, playing 8 and 10 hour sets respectively over one weekend. In fact - the night is so hot that this Friday/Saturday double-header regularly sees clubbers driving and flying from such far places as Calgary, Vermont and Chicago for both consecutive nights - anything to experience the magic Max lays down over his extended sets. Now that's dedication!
2004 sees the release of SHINE the mix CD (January) as well as some original material on Max's new imprint Shinemusic. "Branching into a label has always been something I've wanted to do - I come across so much amazing unsigned material that I want to see in a good home, this label means a lot to me"
This is an 18 + over show

So how was yours? A bit late I know, but may I wish you all peace , love and happiness for 2004. How did your start to the new year go? For me it was excellent. My friends and I put on a party, a good vibe, great crowd of people (the people make the party) and a lovely chilled out after party. I can't think of a better start to the new year and hope that it sets the tone for the rest of the year. Any one else?
back in the UK from the DAM Alright there people. I have had loads of good nights with in Amsterdam (wonder how many people are still there that I know)? I would just like to say that after nearly nine years in the Netherlands I consider myself slightly Amsterdamaged!!! but it is all good.... with some fantastic memories(hoi polio ect).
Back in the UK now for around a year and would just like to share somewhere that I have found up here in Newcastle. Now I have been partying since around 1990 (all the free partys in and around the Oxford and London area). Now this place called SHINDIG and it reminds me soooo much of that lovin feeling that used to be around a good few years ago. Everyone is out for a good time getting smashed and feeling happy, you know not just standing around staring looking like they have just been shot in the arse looking for some one to take it out on.
If anyone else knows of any good places like this then please let me know as they are getting harder and harder to find.
Anyway good luck to everyone and hope this new year brings happyness and joy to everyone...
