Too anxious when I’m high? So I was a marijuana addict for 1 and a half years and I have now been sober 5 months and 19 days. Despite this achievement whenever I try to get high I just end up crazy anxious.
A little about me, I've been diagnosed with:
Major depression
Dysthymia
Generalised anxiety (inc. social, physical, sexualised)
Post traumatic stress disorder
Borderline personality disorder (almost cured)
I used to be a huge tripper (10 - 15 tabs a week on average) but I burnt out really fast after about 6 months when I had a terrible DMT breakthrough. The last time I tried to take ecstasy the come up made me so anxious. I was fine after I turned on a movie but it was a waste of the pills.
The problem is that the only thing I can handle is alcohol now and even drinking that little bit too much sends me into a spinner. I smoked a cone of Damiana which isn't even a drug and it scared me to death.
Does anyone know where I'm coming from, especially the part with the alcohol? Or how they got through anxiety when high?
