Risking a great friendship. I've fallen for one of my friends, we used to be like best friends. We trusted each other with everything, despite how little he actually hang out with each other. There was an incident after he was dumped by his boyfriend he was seeing at the time. Im not entirely sure what happened but he started ignoring me and we didnt talk for half a year. In november we started talking again, and although things arent as good as they used to be. I beleive in time we'll be really good friends again. Thing is though, I've not told him how I feel about him, I'm not sure if it would be a great risk if I were to tell him. Things are pretty unstable as they are, I'm not sure what kind of damage that news could do. He already doesnt return my calls. I dont want to go through "losing" him again. I'm just looking for advice really on wether it would be best to just hide it or tell him.

The place looks like a cross between a military field hospital (when DK was occupied in WWII!), and a public WC, and although its cleaner and safer the drug users "pay" for it by registering their personal details (and providing the Danish health authorities with valuable research data about their usage patterns and health).
It has stopped many ODs ending up in fatalities and kept open drug use away from the street, which surely improves everyone elses quality of life even if they don't take drugs at all..
Incidentally unless Danmarks Radio were helping the BBC with the report and/or the Asian Network reporter they sent there or or one of her team speaks Danish, the addicts would have been proficient enough in English to speak to the journalists - so its much more of an indictment on Danish society that even well educated people end up addicted to hard drugs and having to become sex workers etc (which is also illegal there) than the drugs problem as a whole!

US : Inventor of red solo cup dies at age 84 TBH I've never seen one of these outside of a USA movie still showing a "college party" scene, not even in the increasingly Americanised UK supermarket at the top of my road (ASDA==British Walmart).
Then again in UK and Europe the legal age for drinking alcohol is 18 so there is much less need for young adults to hide what they are drinking, and no shame in drinking out of a bottle or can if there is not any other suitable glassware available... (it has been rare since late 1970s to see kegs of beer being served at British parties as the poor quality of it made the UK an international laughing stock).
It is now possible to get polypins and other bulk supplies of good real ale for your party, but implies the folk attending it are going to be mature enough to use proper drinking vessels :laugh_at:
