Best films to trip to As the title of the thread says; I want a your offerings of the best film to trip to (regardless of what you're tripping on).
We've probably had similar threads in the past but I can't recall them.
Try and avoid the obvious ones like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. If you have a story to accompany your suggestion, please share this also.
My most recent discovery is the animated film Rango, starring Johnny Depp as a chameleon. Sounds awesome already doesn't it lol. I describe it as a cross between Finding Nemo (but kind of reversed, goes from family pet to being in the wild, rather than wild and then trapped in a domesticated setting) and Fear and Loathing, as I mentioned above. Johnny Depp plays a similar persona but with a completely different character. Even though it is meant to be a kids/family film, there are a lot of adult themed undertones and a lot more adult based humour than I expected from a film of this genre. All round crowd pleaser. But it is very well animated (with lots of colour and peculiar looking characters) and quite random with moments of slight surrealism.
I was only stoned when watching this last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. But I can't wait to watch it again tomorrow on 5-meo-mipt; should be fun. I'll let you all know how it goes.

UK : Queen’s horse disqualified for morphine… For the benefit of those in different countries, This is a horse belonging to the UK Queen (as there are of course many queens around the world; who might also own horses). And from the pictures below both of them look a bit strung out (maybe HM got her medications mixed up with the horse feed) - if we must hold on to such old traditions I don't understand why we don't just do the same as the other European countries and retire the old monarchs letting the younger ones take over - that way the Queen and her horse can just ride round in circles at Sandringham until one or the other keels over; its big enough so they won't be a hazard to anyone else' and they can take all the morphine they wish (in the UK its handed out by the kilo to old granny ladies over a certain age anyway - usually for perfectly valid and humane reasons as they have a variety of genuine medical conditions).

Im back and shit :D Hi guys, ive been away a while attempting to sort my life out. Wouldnt say it went too badly as ive landed myself a job and recovered from the massive anxiety that was brought on by a rough experience with 25i-nbome (never again.)
