UK : LDN : S : Prisoners in HMP Wormwood Scrubs scared to leave cells due to rats. Lads today really are going soft - in the 80s/90s if you were in HMP and there were rats prisoners often fed them and treated them as pets (it is illegal but if you're already in jail that isn't a big deal...) ; and threatened to wreck the place if the screws harmed the rodents in any way....

Favourite place Anyone who has a special spot or favourite place to visit or holiday at, send some photos,
This is my family's favourite holiday destination, a place called Monkey Mia in West Australia
This is one of the few places that wild dolphins choose to interact with man, it is extremely remote but is beautiful and has some rare wildlife as you can see those birds are Emu chicks and the spiky lizard is a Thorny Devil
this post is dedicated to itsTori who needs to find her special place.
Poor quality of geolocation tools I tried the links myself (without any tricks on my browser or connection to obscure info) and the results were hundreds of km out; showing my location variously as London, Aylesbury and Exeter (this last being completely the wrong side of England).
Even google maps with an active gps-capable Android device sat below my monitor is wrong by several metres and the address also incorrect.
Perhaps Americans still think the Earth is flat :laugh_at:

DK/NL : Some 1980s/90s? testpatterns and Danish Rap! A Dutch chap received these a few years ago during the atmospherics.
Although the main test card seen is a Philips pattern and often associated with NL it was invented in Copenhagen; although the local TV uses a German pattern.
Sounds like the P&T/TDC used an ø for the test tone whilst Danmarks Radio used å :laugh_at:
A lot of countries (DE, NL and NO also did this) identified whether a test pattern was from the TV broadcaster or the PTT telecom (they often owned the transmitter network) - this was encouraged by the EBU amd CEPT as it made it easier to track down any routing errors or video link failures...
For the era (I was working as a broadcast engineer during the end of the 1990s) they are using very advanced equipment compared to what the UK and NL had (such as custom overlays on the test pattern)
There is even a digital transmission link (the moving vertical line is added to warn if the encoder has crashed as many would just output the last contents of the framebuffer, a static image would not warn the engineers this has happened).
I initially thought TV/2 Lorry meant the signal was from an outside broadcast van but it is a place in Copenhagen where since 1999 TV2 send the news from an old listed building. The Council are likely to have discouraged using a satellite dish or big antenna but TDC would have been able to supply a fibre circuit or multiple ISDN connections which work better with digital encoding (around 34 MB/s with more compression was normal for a newsroom, cheaper than 270MB/s for full quality video)
At 01:48 to 02:07 there is a rap song; I assume DR is relaying the "youth station" on the soundtrack and this is in Danish (I wonder who the group is?)

When did YOU start using drugs? How old were you when you first used a substance (recreationally) besides cannabis? What did you get out of it? Why did you do it? How old were you when you started using drugs on a regular basis? How has your drug use affected your life, in a positive or negative way? And finally, do you regret your past (or present) drug abuse?
wouldent it be great? Ok - let's test this. I like to hear every answer. Regardless of good or bad. I can handle critics as well.
Cheers guys
again I'm serious. I'm a global senior director at a company that does billions of $ turnover a year. I do 165K base and another 30% in bonus. I like to invest my money in a none-profit start-up like that and do something good to the world!
So let's start with an idea that I have since a while - wouldn’t it be great?
.. If there would be an none-profit organisation that makes a quality label for drugs?
I don’t speak about a governmental organisation were you can go test the drugs that you bought. I speak about one that a dealer or legal seller can be a member of and then sell it as "quality approved, or BIO / Organic, high quality or similar measures - a way that you know if you buy what actual quality you buy? Kind of with a suggested price range for the quality range we identify?
Give you some examples:
... bio herbs / cannabis
... tested LSD with a description of the flash
… Same goes for MDMA / Speed, pills or powder
... cocaine were you know what is in it or what they cut it with?
Does this sound like a business idea? Well I don’t think you can make a business out of that, but you could make a none profit out of it. A none profit that argues with the government that they should be legalised. As they do no business but make drugs safe for the users. Could be called "safedrugs.info" I think I go reserve that domain right now (just did..).
Ha-ha. Did I lose you yet? Or is this any interesting idea?. I'm really bored by go ordering stuff in the dark net, or go find dealers on the street not knowing what you get? They could register, totally encrypted - we would make sure that the country government buys in to it and that all members agree to work as per the standards of "safedrugs.info" - and only we give the names to a government if someone really is going against the rules. We would do test of the drugs, and certify them as per our terms and conditions (again you a lawyer or study law, wonna join safedrugs.info?) etc.
you could go rate the drugs you bought, and see how others liked it or not giving a feedback to the legal seller / dealer.
How would I make money to survive if you work for safedrugs.info?
- I would ask for subscription fees (off course only after I have a government buying in to the idea, you a layer in Sweden, Switzerland, netherlands, Germany or Norway like to join safedrugs.info none profit? I would pay you for your work - moderate?)
- I would ask for a fee to make product quality labels after someone gave it to me and I made an test (I'm not sure yet how to do that, but there is legal ways in many central European countries of going and let your drugs go and be check for what it’s ingredients are. I think I would make an agreement with them that one can come anonymous and reference to the encrypted dark net account of safedrugs.info or eventually safedrugs.onion or whatever other way a techy will consult me with (are you a techy that is interested to join?)
I will pause for a while... and see if someone is writing me back. I'm dead serious about this idea and think in liberal countries like Sweden, Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany and Canada this idea could fly. As well in the US were you have cannabis legalised in some states or have it medical used, see the applications here as well if you get it into that pharmacy with a quality label.
