UK : SE : FAIL – kids play knock down ginger at OAP flats whilst cops visit! FAIL...
Three young people from Milton Keynes got more than they bargained for when they decided to ‘cherry knock’ at a sheltered accommodation complex while a police surgery was being held inside.
Inspector Colleen Lavery and Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Nigel Barton were busy listening to complaints from elderly residents about children pushing the buzzers and running off, when it actually happened.
The officer chased after the nuisance callers and caught up with two of the three. The officers contacted the parents of the young people, aged in their early teens, to let them know what their children had been up to. The third person involved was also identified and his parents were visited by Inspector Lavery and PC Rob Grewal

Life changing lottery win sees Hungarian Police force quit How many times have you read the news of a big lottery win and seen the words ‘It’s not going to change my life!’, the frustration of all that wasted lottery winnings on some skinflint not prepared to even look at a new Porsche or 16 bedroom mansion is enough to make the losers amongst us want to spit. Well not so in Hungary, the hilarious news that an entire police force has quit because they have won £10m on the lottery comes as something of a breath of fresh air. Clearly not so hilarious for the residents of Budaors, the Hungarian town where they are now at risk of criminals and racketeers taking over the place, but for the rest of the world the story is absolutely side-splitting.
This very entertaining story told first here in the UK by the Telegraph, detailed how the fifteen strong Budaors Police force syndicate decided to quit their jobs almost immediately on finding out that they won the Hungarian Lottery, the sixth biggest ever won in the history of the game. The lucky lottery winning officers all decided to a man that their big lottery win was most definitely going to change their lives. Good news though for the residents in Budaors as the local police chiefs are trying to get temporary cover until the new police force can be recruited, in the meantime the criminals in the area may very well make hay.
Winning a big lottery jackpot can make some people do some pretty strange things even playing our own UK National Lottery, but certainly any life changing decisions should be done once the news of a big lottery win has properly been taken in. The sum involved in this particular win split between fifteen may well not last a life time and so in the early stages a lot of fun may be had, when the cash dries up the fifteen could well need to be looking for jobs once more. It is therefore wise to not make rash decisions if you are ever one of the lucky ones, time to reflect and ponder how the money should be spent, saved or invested etc is very wise. But hey, who needs wise when you have wild and thoroughly entertaining people like the Hungarian Police force – long may they serve, well until the next big lottery
Wish it was me :laugh_at::laugh_at::laugh_at:

SA : Lawsuits fly after "beautiful camel" falls down oil well A $250,000 compensation claim has been made against Saudi Arabia's oil giant Saudi Aramco for causing the death of a prized camel, local press reports say.
The case, to be heard on Monday, involves a three-year-old black camel which fell into a large hole dug in the desert to store crude oil.
The camel's owner is quoted saying the beast had been entered in one of the region's popular camel beauty pageants.
The compensation claim is based on the value experts put on the camel.
The owner, Abdullah Al-Saiari, said the she-camel was grazing in a desert pasture, about 150 miles (250km) west of Ahsa, when the accident happened.
"She was part of the Camel Beauty Contest," he said, the Saudi Gazette reported.

SO : EPIC FAIL – Somali pirates attack French Navy vessel "by mistake" A group of Somali pirates has been captured after attacking a French navy ship by mistake, apparently thinking it was a harmless cargo vessel.
French military spokesman Admiral Christophe Prazuck said the pirates attacked in skiffs late at night some 500km (310 miles) off the Somali coast.
But the command and supply ship, the Somme, repelled the attack and chased the pirates, capturing five of them.
