DMT has been used as a drug for thousands of years.
Use of the drug as part of shamanic ritual is common in South America.
Side effects include powerful hallucinations.
Due to the nature of the drug, DMT is known as the “spirit molecule.”
DMT is a white crystalline powder that is derived from certain plants found in Mexico, South America, and parts of Asia, such as Psychotria viridis and Banisteriopsis caapi.
It is typically consumed in the following ways:
vaporized or smoked in a pipe
consumed orally in brews like ayahuasca
snorted or injected on rare occasions
The chemical root structure of DMT is similar to the anti-migraine drug sumatriptan, and it acts as a non-selective agonist at most or all of the serotonin receptors, particularly at the serotonin 5-ht2a receptor. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that has a large effect on the majority of our brain cells.
There is some evidence that DMT is also produced endogenously, in other words, it is produced naturally in the body, specifically in the pineal gland in the brain.
When smoked, the average dose of DMT is believed to be somewhere between 30 to 150 milligrams (mg), and the onset of action can be felt almost instantly. The effects peak and plateau for 3 to 5 minutes, and gradually drop off with the duration of effect totaling 30 to 45 minutes.
When consumed as a brew, the dose is between 35 to 75 mg. Effects begin after 30 to 45 minutes, peak after 2 to 3 hours and are resolved in 4 to 6 hours.

Drug testing for amphetamines
Amphetamines describe the category, or drug class, that includes both amphetamine and methamphetamine. While the US Department of Transportation (DOT) and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) requirements include MDMA under the group “amphetamines,” laboratory testing typically requires a separate, specific test. Amphetamines are central nervous system stimulants that cause a reaction of increased energy and alertness and then exhaustion as the effects wear off. Excessive and long-term use can produce physical effects such as disorientation, severe depression, paranoia, hallucinations, increased blood pressure and fatigue.
Amphetamine and methamphetamine may be mistaken as the same drug, but they are not. Below is some information specific to each unique drug.
Amphetamine is a stimulant and an appetite suppressant that stimulates the central nervous system by increasing the release of certain chemicals (“neurotransmitters”) in the brain. It is a Schedule II drug that can be prescribed for the treatment of narcolepsy and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Physical symptoms can include restlessness, tremors, rapid breathing, confusion, panic and seizures. Because of the potential for abuse and addiction, physicians prefer using other treatment methods. Common trade names of amphetamine-containing drugs are Adderall®, Dexedrine® and Vyvanse®.
Methamphetamine, sometimes called meth, crystal, crank and ice, is an extremely addictive stimulant drug. It can be taken orally, smoked, snorted, or dissolved in water or alcohol and injected. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, even small amounts of methamphetamine can cause increased physical activity, decreased appetite, increased respiration, rapid heart rate, irregular heartbeat and increased blood pressure. Repeated methamphetamine use may lead to anxiety, insomnia, weight loss, skin sores, severe dental problems (referred to as “meth mouth”) and addiction. While often thought of as only an illicit drug made in clandestine laboratories, methamphetamine is also available by prescription for limited medical uses (treatment of obesity and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) under the trade name of Desoyxn®.
Employers can screen applicants and employees to help to deter drug use and keep their workplaces drug-free.

WARNING! ALPHABAY ON THE DARKWEB IS A SCAM! THE ADMINISTRATION STEALS DEPOSITS!
Hello everyone, I am here to let everyone know that the AlphaBay site for drugs on the darknet is a scam. Do not attempt to purchase drugs there because there is a good chance that you will loose your money as I did, twice. The administration there randomly steals deposits immediately after arrival. In my case I actually saw the money arrive and then disappear minutes later. On a prior order my remaining balance was taken. If you go to "Help Desk" in the forums section on that site you will see page after page of buyers who experienced the same thing without resolution. Note that you will see comments here and there from administration members and others blaming it on "phishing" and other things. If the money actually arrived and is visible everything was done correctly and the account was obviously not phished. If it disappears after it is in the account it was taken by an administrator. So last night, I took some 4-ACO-DMT (www.erowid.org/chemicals/4_acetoxy_dmt/), on accident.. (Source; ordered it from changshung-chems.com).
Holy fuck. I've done shrooms/acid before but this shit was crazy.
I had bought some weed from my brother a few days ago, and there was a capsule in the pill bottle he gave to me that I was supposed to return to him, he has his green card and gets THC pills on occasion, so I assumed that's what it was. I knew he had this 4-ACO-DMT but I thought it was powder not a capsule so I didn't know that was what I had. Boy was I wrong..
The night began when I opened up my pill bottle to get out a bowl and I decided I wanted to get really stoned (I was smoking out my window so I couldn't smoke too much bc my parents will smell it etc..) so I took this capsule and figured I'd pay him back the next day.
30 minutes later as I was laying on my back my fan began to take on a strange pattern and my whole ceiling fucking erupted in vivid waves of color, keep in mind I didn't know I had taken it so I was like wtf am I doing? I began to laugh/sweat/shudder uncontrollably and ended up laying naked in my bed with all my blankets thrown off. I kept turning over what could possibly be going on (first thoughts, IT WAS LACED) being in the state I was in I began to wonder if I was simply going insane, then this thought really took hold in the depths of my trip and I started freaking out. I couldn't comprehend time and I just kept coming back to the fact that it would never end, then I got stuck in this weird loop of trying to think about not thinking and just totally mindfucked myself into thinking I was insane and that my parents were going to throw me in a loony bin when they found me but they would never find me because I thought time wasn't moving and I was going to be stuck in my bed for the rest of my life tripping nuts. I would try to look at my phone to see what time it was but my background is fish swimming in an aquarium and it would erupt into crazy fractals and I couldn't read the clock. Eventually I fell into a trance and felt the most calming/relaxing/coolest feeling I have ever felt in my life, it was like God himself was holding me. This went on for what seemed like an eternity, although the other part seemed like an eternity as well. until I finally fell asleep and woke up in the morning and realized I was still alive and wasn't totally batshit crazy, Asked my brother what the fucking fuck that capsule was and he told me..
So now I just want to say I'm thankful that I'm not insane and that I'm able to sit here and type this right now completely coherent. And it was worth it. All that craziness was worth that feeling I held. No other explanation other than pure divine goodness.
SPARKNOTES: Accidentally took really strong hallucinogenic, tripped nuts and have a whole new perspective on life. wickr; seanpaxson got hell of such high products/chems.
MORAL: Don't take hallucinogens on accident, or actually do it because it was hands down the coolest drug experience of my life.
