depends which province – although you probably would find one in all the main cities / university areas but outside Amsterdam drug use is a lot more discreet and people don’t shout about it (no different from England TBH)

Amsterdam (and other tolerance zones in Europe) are a bit like the rat temple in a part of India (they let all the rats into a temple as in one of the religions they are the souls of dead people or something like that).

Of course folk say “ugh! that is unhealthy” but the rat temple got audited by the Ministry of Environment and Forests in the 2000s they counted 4 500 rats with no health problems (that can be transmitted to humans) and all the villagers there said “we haven’t got any problem with rats in our houses, or contaminating food on our farms” – as all the rats were in the temple!

lockdown on all night time economy and these businesses replaced with less “druggy” ones. I write from experience as that is precisely what happened to Ipswich in 8 years and that wasn’t even triggered by drug overdoses but young people becoming victims of other crimes because of the drugs/sex/night life based countrerculture.

Doesn’t seem that stuff like this would make the news if British people bought white heroin as coke in Britain but if many foreign visitors were sold it then I really wonder how it would be handled. I think we would totally fuck the situation up by kicking in random doors and all sorts of ridiculous tactics would e used.

Ahhh a gram of smack for 40 or so euros…. what a bargain they got, remember kids, you have to try smack at least once up the nose and a little on the tongue to know the taste, it actually tastes a lot like pure pharm grade Morphine, but stronger due to whatever agents are added.

Please take my post as humour, smacks not the best drug to try once, due to most people thinking it’s the best drug to do after doing it. Smack is one of those drugs that it’s the one thing I know if I’m scared, in pain, on a comedown etc (think of any negative feelings) it will take them away every time. You can get a habit in a matter of a week if you did enough, it wouldn’t be a massive one but you would feel withdrawal.

Now I have endure abstinence from something my brain tells me is the solution to life, when it’s actually the opposite, it’s the solution for death…. Physically, mentally and spiritually.

10-20 years ago that is exactly what did happen (irrespective of what nationalities were involved) but only recently we had the superman pills in Ipswich, 3 dead and only one victim was English – the other two were from LT and the dealer was Polish and it was just treated as a run of the mill drugs case with the dealer getting 5 years (a lot for a 19 year old with no previous for dealing; but less than some might expect – I think he made a guilty plea and it was clear he did not want to harm his customers which went in his favour)

The UK is learning from the rest of Europe; it just doesn’t want to admit it. Unfortunately prohibitionists will also probably claim that by “balkanising”(!) drugs usage to younger people and foreigners they are reducing demand and Ipswich is not as dependent on the night time economy as Amsterdam (which is trying to reduce its dependency on this, the two towns share policing and enforcement ideas and tactics)

There’s a story online somewhere on erowid about when a group of 3-4 men mixed up a gram of LSD with Coke. They didn’t die, but they did trip for days and have to be hospitalised. Fucking hell they must have been so rich and stupid to get a gram of fucking Acid mixed up with cocaine…. I mean ffs…. These days though I can acquire grams of things in the micro gram range, but wouldn’t want to fuck around with it it’s dangerous. My friend left a gram of 2C-E at my mates, the guy who’s place it was went to bed, a group of 3 found the gram and racked up a massive one each, they all did it…. and had the most horrific intense ill trip, throwing up and tripping hardcore. That’s what you get when you steal drugs off your ‘mate’ when they go to sleep. My friend did this with my bag of Phenazepam once, 100-150mg straight up the nose. He couldn’t walk straight for over 5 weeks and was slurring and lost about a week, cannot remember it at all.

Funnily enough a couple of years ago me and my friend bought a load of benzos and trips and there was a g of phenazepam which went missing. my friend says she’s pretty sure she know who took it and definitely fucked up and lost a week or so. People are so reckless I could easily become a serial killer by buying a grams of 25I,B or C nbome, going to music festivals and dropping wraps of .6 on the floor. Someone would think they were onto a winner, you put over 10mg of that stuff in you you’re gonna want to be going to the hospital ASAP, a lot of deaths have been associated to this at festivals sold as acid, so imagine what big wraps of it would do found in the wrong hands… Death

cops here (and therefore whole country via NCA as Suffolk has this long standing “buddy” agreement with metpol) are genuinely paranoid about someone doing this due to their own fragile mental health. Only recently (late 2000s) one chap got caught with a lot of LSD and his initial charge was under Terrorism Act as they genuinely thought he might dump a load in a water tower in Mid Suffolk (I used to cycle past it when visiting friends 30km out in the sticks) – I don’t think this chap would have done anything like that (he could have made more than most people in work selling the acid in the same area; which is full of hippies from 1960s era and their families!)

At the same time there was a lot of people in the area doing way too much of LSD as well as all the new substances and they were often behaving irrationally and it was nasty/unpleasant fucked up behaviour like domestic abuse; physically attacking their parents (if they still lived in the family home) and bullying/agression to strangers (especially on comedowns which made people quite psychotic) rather than just being sillly hippies. He got 18 months and others in his crowd actually got sectioned. (this stuff also went on 20+ years ago as a fallout from early 90s rave culture)

I know a few people with SIA [security guard] training and at one point thought I might have to do it myself (as I deal with a lot of CCTV footage and sometimes surveillance ops for safeguarding vulnerable people) and for events they are now trained to deal with incidents such as this which would be treated as CBRN attack on the festival. This is also why festivals are bloody difficult and expensive to license in this country…

sort of but it might not make any difference to peoples strange behaviour; and across the border Police Scotland would wonder why everyone has suddenly calmed down and that politician woman who looks like a younger Angela Merkel would claim all the credit :laugh_at:
