Amsterdam: Drug warning, 3 people dead
- December 1, 2014 at 1:44 am #833531
Intentional does make more sense, IDK but I don’t think for a second these were hardcore opiate users but then far stupider/more careless things have happened after using drugs/alcohol.December 1, 2014 at 1:49 am #833486
no i ment the deal got their bags mixed up… which is probably unlikely
but the kids getting their bags mixed up is impossible cuz they only wanted a bag of whiffDecember 1, 2014 at 1:51 am #833532
That’s true.December 1, 2014 at 1:58 am #833487
i guess this is a good example of why you should start slow and do a test hit. if one of these kids had just done a tiny bump and then started to nod instead of feel coked up this whole ordeal could have been avoided… not trying to play blame the victim at all, just a basic harm reduction strategy when you get a bag of unknown purity or from a stranger.December 1, 2014 at 2:01 am #833533
It’s seriously good practice to do allergy tests and begin with small doses and work up but that’s a sadly rare practice among users. The last person you should be trusting to be straight with you is an unknown drug dealer.December 1, 2014 at 2:05 am #833488
yeah i wouldn’t in a million years think to do a big ole fat gacker of some random powder bought off a stranger.. maybe a miniscule key bee or the smallest of numbies to make sure it was coke in this situation..
i guess the ideal thing would be to use a test kit to make sure you got what you were supposed to.
still sucks reading the link they seemed like good kids just trying to have a little fun. their only crime was trusting a stranger
if you are 100% confident in the product and the source then yeah go ahead and start with a heroic dose otherwise caution should be the idea.December 1, 2014 at 2:09 am #833534
Sound words DB, and I agree, they seemed decent kids just trying to have a good time.December 1, 2014 at 2:14 am #833489
if this was in america they’d be hanging the kids in effigy while trying to get the dealer extradited.
if you’re fucking with stuff that can kill you and don’t procede with caution then maybe you shouldn’t be fucking with it
i came up with a solution: they were looking for white but due to the language barrier got sold china white and they were cool with paying double for a gram since they were on holiday. idk seems as reasonable as anything else we’ve came up with.December 1, 2014 at 2:16 am #833535
Lol, fixed the DB issue for ya.
Right now any explanation is as valid as any other.December 1, 2014 at 2:25 am #833490
there seems little hope that it will get resolved any further, which is sadDecember 1, 2014 at 2:28 am #833491
good thing the info is out there so hopefully no one else dies from ‘coke’ in amsterdamDecember 1, 2014 at 2:33 am #833536
The info being out there should be a massive warning to people going over there for the drugs but I don’t have high hopes unfortunately. People can become pretty stupid when it comes to drugs.December 1, 2014 at 2:42 am #833492
it sounds like the dutch were doing everything they could not to get a repeat, but it still happenedDecember 1, 2014 at 2:45 am #833537
If the dealer is still out there, it’s likely it will happen again sadly. It’s a shame because the Dutch have always had very good attitudes toward drug use and also user safety.
The biggest problem is that the cast majority of chems are illegal so you can’t buy exactly what you want and be highly confident that what you asked for is what you have.December 1, 2014 at 2:50 am #833493
we seem to be flogging an already deceased horse with this conversation
