Snowblind – Robert Sabbag
I know cocainum isn’t everyone’s cup’o’cha, but this book details the escapades of a coke importer in the 70’s. The 70’s…a great era for that kind of thing…and some of the smuggling scams they got up to….lordy lordy…
ohand marching powder – coke related prison biography
I quite liked Ben Elton’s (he wrote Blackadder, Thin Blue Line etc) High Society. It’s centred around a British politician who’s trying to legalise all drugs, and various other characters.
Doors of Perception is an interesting read too.

Iv read that thought it was very good, better than his other books.

Of course extraslim ma pal. Trainspotting does exacctly what it says on the tin.
Irvine Welsh describes it perfectly. I know that HE knows, not just because we are from the same time/scheme/vibe..
Don’t know him at all but man! he is spot on.
Marabou Stork Nightmares is a masterpiece.
That man got in my head so much that I actually think that the book is written about me.
Get past our accent and it is spot on the microdot.
Marching powder is brilliant such a weird story . Buying your cell and the best cocaine is actually made in the prison.
I really like the memoir A Beautiful Boy by author David Sheff about his sons addiction to Crytal Meth. A few years later, his son Nic Sheff also wrote about his drug addiction in his own memoirs Tweak. Both books are well written and pull you in. I read both in about 3 days because i simply could not put them down. Also very interesting to see the same event from both a family perspective as well as the addicts perspective. Currently reading A Million Little Pieces by James Frey. I heard that a lot of events in the book are false, but its good so far and i dont really care if its true or not.
Naked Lunch – William Burroughs very funny…
Non-Fiction – ‘ Generation Ecstasy ‘ – Simon Reynolds
Government big books of drugs(doctors issue)
