after listening to acid house tapes from mates in london, manchester and nottingham (rave fm anybody?) and munching acid for a few years, new years eve ’91 was the time for me to try something new.
a pink cali and 8000 people at Westpoint arena started off the night. I started to dance, lost a few hours, and suddenly found myself jumping and jumping to a sound like Top Buzz.
It was midnight, I’d lost my friends a while ago, but the gorgeous girl next to me became my new best friend whle I discovered just what it can be to dance
enormous sub bass, smiles and lasers finally faded to a happy young man on a sofa with a spliff around midday on new years day.
never looked back
