Oh well …. so much for responsible use . It’s a shame we wont get to see the full potential of etizolam.

Sorry to make my first post on this forum to you and about this but where do you get your information from. Clon (Klon) is absolutely a benzodiazepine and not a THIENOdiazepine. It is structurally different from other benzos though and is technically classified as a chloro-nitrobenzodiazepine because it’s a chlorinated version of nitrazepam. So Etizolam and Clonapin both do not fall under classic benzos like xanax, ativan, valium, but chemically they are also very dissimilar. The thienobenzo almost always has a rapid onset with a short half life while the chloro benzo is the opposite (takes 2 hour+ before onset and can last past 20 hours). Just my $.02 while browsing around. It’s something I’ve done a lot of research on and if you do some homework you’ll see what I mean.

That being said, I wasn’t trying to insult or antagonize anyone, just wanted to spit out some education. To me that’s the most important aspect of any drug is to be educated on what it is, how it works, what it does, and what to and not to mix it with. I don’t know the full rules here yet but from what I can see is there is nowhere to discuss vendors?

If anyone can point me in a good direction for a US based vendor with good variety I’d be grateful and would find a tangible way to say thanks.

How does ETIZOLAM compare to an actual Benzo? are the withdrawals anywhere near as bad? i’ve been prescribed a few over the years, i currently take Clonazepam 112 per month.

My research experiments show that etizolam reacts to GABAa in the brain the same as other benzos even though it’s a thienodiazapine and not a benzodiazapine, but the symptoms appear to be nearly identical. . There’s one strange aspect, after a 4 week trial our subjects started showing a reverse dependency compared to our control with alprazolam. But this was in small doses from .25g-1g. Research has indicated that etizolam has very similar properties to mixture of alprazolam (xanax) and diazepam (valium) is the best way to describe it. It has a much shorter half life than diaz and onset is the same or quicker than xanax. But after enough continued use the same withdrawls are experienced and are very serious. Quitting after extended use is not recommended and could prove fatal. If you or someone you know is experiencing w/d from any sort of benzo they need immediate medical attention. The only way to get off of them is through tapering, usually with a benzo that has a long half life such as clonazepam and valium.

Benzodiazapines are not something to fool around with recreational amounts and should always be monitored through medical care. It’s also only for research and at no time is it meant for human consumption. If you were prescribed Etizolam I’d be quite interested in learning how and where. Either way, be careful and know that 1mg of Etiz is = to about 10mg of valium. There’s tables that are easy to find on forums and through google that compare them all.

I hope that helps answer your question. In case I wasn’t clear Etiz exhibits the same symptoms as other benzos, with a rapid on set and relatively short life. W/D from it is the same as with any benzo and requires a taper.

Cheers mate, i will never touch anything like that, only prescription ones for me, i’ve had Librium, Xanax, Valium, 2’s, 5’s, 10’s, and some shady ones, Oxazepam is another good one, but by far the best, and with a long half life, is my current one Clonazepam, i should be on 4 a day, but i tapered to 1, and you are quite right, this taper for me took around 9 months, i doubt i can ever get off them now.

Congrats for going from 9 to 1, that’s impressive. I’m sure it took a while. Have you heard of the Ashton Manual ? It’s all about getting off benzos and I think you can if you want to. Try and jump to .5 one day, see how it feels. See if you can stay on .5 and then work your way down. Try skipping a day. It’s up to you and this is not medical advice and you might not want to get off them because they help your life. And that’s great, that’s what they’re there for. But if you do wanna quit I can help guide you and I can tell you this, it’s not gonna be very bad. Whatever you started it for will certainly come back, but there’s other non-med tricks for that. It’s your call, but either way I think its great to hear of a jump from 9 to 1. is a lot. So you get a high five from me.

EDIT: I misread that you were on 9mg a day, I’ve reread, so just substitute any 9’s for 4’s and we’re at the same place. Still a great acheivment. Sorry for the mixup

You’re correct about tapering down the dose gradually, you shouldn’t just abruptly stop taking benzos if you’ve been using them for a while, that can potentially lead to a fatality. But coming off benzos once you’ve developed an addiction can be absolute hell. If you are physically addicted trying to go cold turkey is reportedly a more painful experience than going cold turkey from alcohol or heroin. If you have a psychological addiction; whatever you were using them to treat will come back ten fold. I’ve recently stopping taking benzos after prolonged use and my insomnia and anxiety are at their worst
