Andy i got to experience most of your dream this weekend, i aint too sure if there were many Londoner’s or Welsh peeps, but got to have a real laugh with people from all walk’s of life both young and old was freckin awesome. I guess i need to get my butt to a London and Wales party though cause its been awhile since i have been them ways, but the ones i have been too have been good. A party where people from all corners of this island get together for one mutha of a single party is gonna happen.
Andy you turning hippy hmmm haha hey its ok  .
you know what i miss most at parties?
old people
🙁
I think the party at the weekend was a great example of how fucking stupid the internet can be. Everyone from Norfolk was loving the linkup (Was great to hear some proper tekno!), and it looked like others were enjoying the community rigs as well.
(I even saw matty dancing away to some hardcore; should have taken a pic!)
That’s how it should be. Roll on the next one.
PLUR innit.
Being there?
old people
🙁
my dad’s 67 and square as fuck, but i enticed him down to a rave. he only lasted till 2am, but he danced a good one, got offered shrooms and politely declined, and had a group of girls tryign to chat him up (vexed his girlfreind no end).
also had a group of secondary shcool teachers at a rave in surrey a few years back. while i was tripping i thought they were all safe hippy types, wasnt untill the cold light of day i realised they were maths teachers! still, they went round and thanked every member of crew at the end and told us all we were doing wonderful things in the community and they would all write to their mps. was bewildering but nice.
tek kc is old, does he count? :surprised
i miss wanting to be there, more than actually being there.

IME nearly every maths teacher I have met has always had some sort of bizzare alternative pastime.
Many maths teachers/students are hippies who are just good at maths. How else do you think people got wide access to computers and the internet? they were at the forefront of encouraging thatcho to shell out on school computers in the 1970s/1980s (not easy to get money out of her) there is a lot of very hardcore maths (much of which I have only very basic knowledge of) involved in all aspects of electronics and computing – which the brainy types deal with and shield from people like us (imagine if you still had to hand code your own 3-dimensional matrix equations for 3d graphics)
zone warden is even older and still goes out raving.
“do women count as a drug?”
no. not really. not on any level.
hope this assists.
i’d rather it was raving than what they get up to in france
the swinging scene is massive in france, with big nightclubs in the edge of most large towns catering to this crowd
apparently the biggest two groups of people going are school teachers and police
bit grimy
LOL us maths types are nuttahs  :horay: This thread has made me smile like a cheshire cat. Thank you :flowers:
