See I told you wouldn’t be judged here Tori. Party Vibe is the true land of the free!

    You were right

I’m laughing a little because that is kinda funny. I’d love to do something like that but what he’s likely to do to me… They are real conservative. My dad walked up stairs a few nights after I came out and told me its against god to be religious.

If it’s against God to be religious, then I’m the holiest man on the planet, who’da thunk it? LOL! (sorry, I can’t help but be a sarcastic twat at times)

On a serious note though, I’ve no doubt that you’re scared of the repercussions of doing something about your Dad, but he’s making life a living hell for you & all your family. I don’t normally suggest going to the cops for things, but there’s child abuse (at least that’s what it’d be classed as in the UK, so pretty sure it’d be the same in the US) and fuck knows what else going on there and he’s getting away with it. Something’s gotta be done man, none of you should be living your lives in fear of him (or anybody else for that matter).

get that cunt arrested for child abuse ! You could save it happening to other kids after you 🙂

    this x10000000

mate you may be scared now, but do you want to live the rest of your life in fear and pain? Do you want your brothers to go through what you’ve been through? No one should have to go through that, period. This cunt needs locking up.

Besides, I hear they treat child abusers/paedophiles etc. really nice in prison.. 😉

We have something called childline in the UK where children and young adults can call anonymously for advise with this sort of thing. They will listen to your problems and help you which ever way they can. Find the number and call them if you dont want to get the police involved xxx

Humanity spent 1000 years building a judicial system so that grown men could not beat up children and laugh about it.

Oops, my bad. I meant he says its against god to be gay.

It is considered child abuse here, he just gets away with it. I’ve called on him before for my mom and she let him get away with it. She said ‘We’d have to go bail him out.’ She came to sit next to me that night bawling her eyes out holding my hand saying ‘why does he have to do this stuff?!? The police are probably gonna take him away now.’ Such a bad night then too…

    I’ve heard that before

Sometimes things have to be at least a bit worse before they can get better.

“I cried because I met a man with no shoes. Then I met a man with no feet.”

Thanks for posting the video. 😥

Life… well, it gets better. Eventually. If you want it to and act and behave for it to get better. It really is down to what you and the people around you will put up with.

Sometimes you have to put your foot down and say “this is me, that is you.”‘ Indeed, teen years are very much preparation for those adult choices.

Nobody chooses their family… but you can choose your friends and your life style.

Ha ha, that’s cool, I guessed you meant to say ‘against God to be gay’, but I just thought I’d be a dickhead about it!

I don’t see why you’d have to bail him out, just let him sit in a cell until he goes up before a judge (although that’s probably a damn sight easier for me to sit here and say than it is for your family to go through with it). Your Mum sounds like a good person, and she’s possibly trying to see the good in your Dad too, but even if in every other aspect he was the greatest person on the planet (which I guess he most likely isn’t), he deserves locking up for what he’s doing to you.

its a different legal system, and they charge folk in some USA areas for the cost of time spent in jail! (also in some areas jail and prison are different institutions, prison being used for convicted felons/longer sentences). Also there may be the problem that Tori’s family are financially dependent to some extent on the father (hence why a lot of abuse often goes unpunished).

bear in mind also in UK and Europe a parent can end up being warned by a bobby for giving a child a light smack whilst in some parts of USA a man can shoot at strangers childen (or even their own) you think they are trespassers and going to steal property and even if nicked they are rarely charged. Their culture still is very patriarchal and similar to Victorian Britain.

Cheers GL, nice one mate. 🙂

Some dad in one of the more conservative states shot dead his own 16 year old daughter simply because she had snuck out and came home late – it wasn’t intended as an extreme punishment but simply because he was that paranoid about intruders and also assumed his daughter would respect his rules and would be safely in the house.

He did claim to show remorse in Court but these cases happen all the time (another one was a old boy who shot dead his wife in the same circumstances because he hadn’t put his specs on first before picking up the gun) – but it does show some in USA just value property and individual power over everyone else. To be fair America is changing for the better but often not quick enough.

Even here its only been in my lifetime since the 1980s that it was accepted to rebel against your parents, to stay out late, to be a different sexuality etc..

That’s a good point mate, it’s easy to forget just how quickly attitudes and lifestyles have changed over here and I think we expect the rest of the world to have moved at the same pace.

Well that’s very right. My mom doesn’t work a good enough job for 3 kids and herself.
