  • I need to get a life man.. like 350 posts on pv in a week.. wasting my yoot on a forum…

Haha, nothing wrong with it if you have nothing else to do, and most posting gets done in the evening by most PVers im guessing. I get on when I can but its no necessity. I do post alot on my phone though when bored.

Though Nutz, I joined like over 2 years ago and you have double my post count! :laugh_at:

Jeez he’s geeting close to my post count now lol

To be fair a lot of my posts have been shit, like this one.

Haha, sounds like it causes them to spunk in their pants

Probably a German, who forgot what side of the border they were on as there aren’t many signs now :laugh_at: they are on one of the smaller autosnelwegen, or both would be caught and even the slower of the two would be looking at a minimum €400 fine…

in NL a gary boy is called a mooiboy which is basically a combination of a UK gary boy and a pretty boy (fashion wise), though that makes more sense because its not that easy to get away with speeding in a flat country where there is CCTV everywhere and where speed cameras were invented..

Probably not a good idea to be driving at that speed when you’re that low on fuel either!

the literal translation of “to break the speed limit” in Dutch is to “ride too hard”…

True, though it is €1,70 to €1,90 per litre out there (£1.47 to £1.67) for plus 95 and over €2,00 per litre for super 98. This is why in the cities at least the Dutch ride bicycles and many who do drive use diesel vehicles (this being cheaper at €1,47/l)

A week or so ago whilst practising my driving I went to the petrol station with my cousin and filled a car for the first time in my life, and was shocked by the price of this and also confused by what on earth plus95 and super98 are, last time I had much interest in motor cars it was 3 and 4 star.

Ha ha, things have moved on a bit since them days mate! I can just picture a young GL filling up a Hillman Imp with 3 star, lol!

But yeah, the price is ridiculous at the moment man, really takes the piss how much fuel’s costing now.

I’m not quite that old – by the the late 80s/early 90s a Hillman Imp was already reaching “classic” status. Which meant that those who were then reaching their 30s/40s were buying up and hoarding the remaining ones which hadn’t rusted away/been crashed/used for banger racing/exported and thus the price for a second hand one was out of the range of a younger person. Or they were still being driven by the even older people (I bet some still are!)

Most people got Japanese cars and various Ford and Vauxhall models for first vehicles, occasionally Austin/Rover models (though these were cursed for breaking down)….

Ironically what has happened is the cost of a car itself has gone down, but the price of fuel, getting a license (if you do not already have one) and insuring the vehicle has gone up loads…

Am I an addict? Barely managed half hour at work before sneaking off to hit up some PV in the toilet.
