    World of Eninn

    Must be you dude!

No it doesn’t. It’s like a site called “World of Pat”. They’re not all me.

Anyway, what’s so wrong with D & D sites? How many smart bombs do they drop, how many Hellfires do they launch?

People have fun different ways. Point the finger and laugh if you want, the only idiot is the person that doesn’t appreciate things for being exactly what they are.

There’s nothing wrong with D&D Pat I got my first set aged 8 or 9. The PCs were drawn onto little pieces of cardboard you had to fold in half so they stand up. I had the TSR dragon poster on my bedroom wall for years.

However there are smart bombs and hellfire in D&D.

Not that I knew off-hand. I had to search in order to revel in pedantry.

Here is a Hellfire Warlock and here is a reference to the Turn Undead spell being used as a smart bomb against undead enemy. (Not strictly a smart bomb I know but hey)

    But seriously. Hellfire are awesome.

People haven’t died from playing Dungeons and Dragons. Some people have had mental health issues from exposure to the game, but then again they could theoretically have had WORSE mental health issues from not being exposed to the game.

Contrast with the genuine “magic” items. People certainly have died being on the receiving end of laser guided bombs and Hellfire anti-tank guided missiles. And some of them really did not deserve it.

That ‘statement” is clearly deliberately vague (in a beyond Dungeon Master way) so as to allow the reader to project a meaning which is most relevant to them (in exactly the same way as you would if you were using cold reading techniques).

So says the almighty flying spaghetti monster.

Do a headstand on the beach and all will be revealed.

I know. And while there may well be some serious health issues relating to players being cooped up indoors locked away in an escapist fantasy for days at at time innocent people don’t get killed.

However I must point out that it isn’t the weapon which kills. It is the person firing it. The weapon is merely the facilitator and it is the psycho-social situation the killer is in which makes them pull the trigger.

It is an ayat. I am unaware of any religion that recognises an almighty flying spaghetti monster. You just made that up. Pastafarians do not insist their flying spaghetti monster is almighty.

Cobblers. Firearms almost never kill people. The bullets they fire do so.

… you people must all be on drugs or something…
