  • Fair play mate on joining up! Do you know what part of the Armed services you wanna join?

No debate – happiness is the only thing working for.

PS if being a trained killer makes you happy, good luck while you participate in this country’s biggest waste of money.

yeh hopefully gonna be submarineers weapon technician, thats my first choice but if not gonna try for the air corps and be a aircraft technician but gotta sit the exam first so im trying not to get excited about it but the more i think about it the more i wanna jus go and do it :bounce_fl raaa :bounce_fl

actually the biggest waste of money has either got to be, the millenium dome or wembley stadium :weee: . A trained killer i may end up being but it comes with the job doesnt it , its not for everyone and i didnt think many ppl if any would even answer my question coz it is pretty much against everyones views to join a militant force and go to war etc being told what to do and have views forced upon you.
Ive travelled alot, ive met alot of different ppl with different views and chosen sides in debates and arguements which i thought at the time were the right choice, this is one of the biggest tests for me, if i do this i will be happy at overcoming alot of obstacles i have made for myself. :bounce_fl raaa

Mate i have so much respect for the Armed services because at the end of the day, Who else is gonna protect us from harm. good choice with the submariner bit although that is meant to be one of the toughest training regimes in the Royal Navy, on the plus side tho you’ll make a lot of cash at the end of it!!

A millenium Dome AND Wembley’s new stadium woulndn’t even put a dent in the anual “Defense” budget (which ironically enough does not go towards defending children in care, people living on the streets or the thousands of people who live below the poverty line in this country).

As for getting off on killing people – whatever floats your boat dude.

who said anything about getting off on it?? all im saying if its part of the job then so be it. and for defending against children in care and ppl on the streets then i kinda have sympathy for them and then i dont coz i havent had the easiest of lives but i have always strived to better myself whenever i can and to get to the point when your on the streets is jus plain bollocks really, there are a few exceptions ill give you that but not many and for children in care etc well then there are charities and a million of ppl looking out for them so they get there own funding for that and if more ppl took notice of the neighbours or looked out for one another instead of turning a blind eye to things like ‘ NAh i didnt really see that woman smash her kid up side the head ??? did i?? ‘ :bounce_fl

    Sorry Dude,

I didn’t mean to suggest you were a psychopath, I was just saying that you should do whatever you want to do.

As for children in care being “looked after by loads of charities and millions of people anyway, so why should the government do it” – if the government did their job right and spent their money right in the first place then there would be no need for charity workers and people who put their lives on hold to do something significant.

Excuse me for having a chip on my shoulder about the MASSIVE defense budget that gets spent on killing people, NOT defending people.

i do have strong opinions about out government and the way things are being panned out, like the war in iraq and all the integration of foreign ppl into out culture etc but i want to some day be in a position to change it and i need to be educated in a way to make the correct decisions and this will do both , i dont have a chip but i do feel like i can make a difference evetually somehow
lol well borderline psychopath i think i would come under but in a like good way if thats possible

    everybody hates a tourist

money is overrated, materialism is dead but thriving

    happiness….

I’d go for the job with less stress (thats one reason why I don’t live or work in London/SE England any more) but you still do need a minimum guaranteed income and security/stability in life to be happy these days, otherwise its either dole/dealing/crime and that is never gonna bring you happiness…

if i ever did deal in the past :groucho: ….. im sure it did bring me happiness lol coz i was having a good time surrounded with my mates, but its not like a career move lol :bounce_fl

    Happyness

George Carlin – “Trying to be happy by accumulating possessions is like trying to satisfy hunger by taping sandwiches all over your body.”
