age of majority is the same as in UK (18) so the crime reporters would refer to them as “young men” – I think it was a big prank/dare more than anything (especially with one of them dressed as a Muslim girl :laugh_at:) Schools have lots of expensive kit and get robbed same in England but if that was the motive they would have gone in by night dressed up in balaclavas and battered the rentaguard as that what more often happens..
there’s a real rise in youth violence in Malaysia, its as bad as London in some areas so IMO cops/school authorities should count themselves lucky these lads were most probably just having a laugh… if they wanted to bully or prey on younger kids I doubt they’d go to all this trouble (particularly not 7 all together!)
