Mate i’m talking about a kinetic thing haha, not being by yourself. Basically imagine if it was the norm to give someone a hug when you met them, don’t you think that’d be good?
Oh yeah I totally agree, I hug almost all my mates when I see them, if not a shake of the hand or a kiss on the cheek. Human contact is essential for a healthy mind imo.

I meant to say try and be more selfless it can make you feel better about your life. Also it’s good karma points (i don’t believe in karma as a cosmic force, but if you’re selfless people will notice it and there will benefits).
Like sex? :laugh_at:
I love a good old bit of human contact. I get a massage quite often (not one with a happy ending I’m sad to say) and the girl who does it is a good friend of mine so it’s a very nice experience I find, tends to reconnect you with another being as it were. I highly recommend everyone gets one at least once only three months. It’s proper soothing lol!
I recon personal space is well…… personal
It depends on who they are and my relationship with them
I am quite touchy feely (and like smells too) with my mates, they dont have to be close close mates, a touch on the arm ( /somewhere appropriate) as long as they are comfortable with it, and hugs / kisses with friends family when I meet them / say goodbye, however I dont like kissing people who are not my partner on the lips – too familiar for me
However I met this guy – who is now a good friend and I found his closeness (in proximity) quite uncomfortable at first when I was getting to know him, real intense eye contact etc, but I think this is more of a cultural thing as he does it with everyone, so I leanrt it wasnt personal, now when ever we meet its big long bear hugs!!
My housemate is so so not touchy feely and I cant remember if we’ve ever hugged – prehaps when pissed in the pub on one occasion but thats it in 6 yrs, so I dont ever touch him in conversation

When you first sniffed my clothes, I was somewhat uncomfortable, but I’ guess I’ve just got used to it now. :laugh_at:
I always greet my friends and family with a hug.
It is the inbetween I don’t like, in social situations where people have to shake your hand – hate it. Or when strangers get too close, so close you can feel them breathing down your neck. Then I demand personal space.
But with friends totally different.
GET ORF MY LARND!!!!
