That’s a beaut Process – do you live in it, or just go out in it (the van, not the bike!!)
Love them long n high ivecos – we used to have one as OOOPS! to fit the marquee in the back – needed the 4m length.

nah not living in it at the moment, could do, all kitted out, but think im gonna swap some of it around before this summer get a fixed bed up by the drivers end and put in this small gas bottle wood burner ive got at the back… is a quality van, just drinks diesel though! cost me 70quid to go 250 miles last weekend! 🙁

Woah!! that’s waht me golf does!!

really?! you must be ragging it around if your getting same consumption as mine! mind you i do try and go 50 everywhere and stick behind as many lorries as possible.. if i was going at 85 the whole way i reckon you could probably double that easily!

Well its been a few days communting on the burger and I have nothing but praise, its quick enough to see off most tin boxes but not so quick I have to worry about spinning the rear wheel or hitting 100 plus in 2nd (in fact its automatic:wink:). Its doing about 60MPG which is a great deal better than the trusty Landy Disco I have been using to get to work and its taken about 20mins off my commuting time. Its like riding around in an arm chair in comfort terms with its feet forward position and shaped backrest seat.
Granted it doesnt have the same style or head turning appeal as the Lambretta or the comfort of the Disco but all in all its a better commuting tool.

Come on people dont be shy, I’ve been round the block a few times, show us your rideraaa

    I stand corrected .

I have no ride atm (although I am eyeing up a Triumph Thruxton,) my last was a CR250. But moving to Plumstead ment I had to sell it , quickly.

    My first road legal ride:

    Nice one.

ATM – that scoot is a 76 Primavera….nearly original (resprayed with 80s Vauxhall yellow – was the closest I could colour match to the original) and aside from a rearseat/rack and a legshield mirror is as I got it in 1990!!!

I fill up for about 65/70 notes, and I can usually squuze 280-290 out of it. Don’t rag is really (it ain’t a GTi!!) but that’s just the cost of fuel these days innit

is that petrol or diesel? maybe my beast isnt as bad on fuel consumption as i thought then, result! still way too expensive though!

I get about 40-50 miles for £20 petoral in a ford KA … mby a tiny bit more if I’m going faster.

You’re kidding? My dad’s 17 year old 1.8 Audi gets 110 miles per £20, with reserve to spare!

Nice:bounce_g: always fancied a small frame myself but never had one, I had Vespas in the past but the current series 2 is my first Lambretta, I had it for about 8 years now and done a fair bit of work on it. Its got a GP200 stage 4 ported engine with a 30mm dellorto and a Kegra exhaust. To be honest its more of a toy than transport alhtough it does get afair bit of use over the summer.
