Hello PartyGrrl and Detsme,

I’m hoping you’ll be able to offer some advice.

Just moved out to France, living in the Dordogne (Limoges) area and hoping to find some free parties. Did either of you get anywhere with your search?

Struggling even to find any decent pay parties to get me started.

ANy help would be much appreciated

for the french/italian “italy is preety close” party listings more italians than french but im sure there will be some listed asweel for france

usually the french come over to italy “bless them” 😛
because in france its illegal but also police have a special dedicated force to kill our beloved parties so they usually come over to italy where police show up but dont rly bother when they see over 700 people hehe

I hope it helps, look out for TRAKKASS, METEK, IFP, smoking puzzle
their INSANE 😀

well as in all parts of the world there are many tastes and of course as people are different different scenes etc…

but i could say the majority in italy would be hardtek nearly industrial… but as we have alot of influence from france as their tribes come many MANY times to italy to put up a show we get influenced by it so plenty of frenchcore going around too… even if thats the case plenty of time ive seen the austrians IFP come to italy and perform in an absolutly amazing way hehe

not alot of goa going about in Italy though, just the old skool 180bpm tekno hehe

Me and my mate George are really bored of the raves going on ATM.!! They are bollocks..to be blunt. So, we wanna know if there are any good ones coming up in like…..2 Weeks/3 weeks.?

its a shame seeing someone only in their teens and living in the capital posting this, there was a time when London’s free party scene was thriving..

I first started properly getting into the rave scene when I lived in South London…. there are or were a few good party crews round that way even until recently?

what was wrong with the raves you were going to – was it the culture of gang violence or shit music or both?

how far are you willing to travel and what sort of music are you into? at least one advantage of Londonistan is that its easy to get out of the place :laugh_at:

The reason they’ve become shit is because all the people going are either way old or way young like 13/14…

The music is also really shit too….

it seems that ur not involving urself with the right ppl if ur hearing about raves with 13/14yr olds thru word of mouth..?! jus keep ur ear to the ground and chat to ppl and before u no it u’ll be having it to sum fat tunes, afta all u r in london mate.

its gonna be difficult for people to suggest good music until you tell us what sort of stuff you like (as obviously whatever you are hearing now isn’t to your taste) :laugh_at:

the older people at raves are probably those who’ve been doing it for years have managed to find a safe crowd and area to party in – as long as these youths aren’t playing at being “gangstas representing their ends” they shouldn’t be a problem.

if you like breakcore, look out for the stuff like No Fixed Abode or Headfuk (they tend to post their events in the ads section)
