the last couple of years sussex police have been quite safe with us ravers.. apart from the couple of parties in sainsbury’s on london road.. lots of police attention. but i havent been to a party yet out in devils dyke and the beacon that has been shut down.. the police often end up there at some point, normally in the the morning and they just wonder around for abit and keep an eye on things and thats it.
ive spoke to couple of them at parties before and they basically said.. ‘we know what going on in them woods…’ (meaning the beacon) ‘just dont take the piss’. Which is right.. its all about partying in a secluded area and not disrupting the public at an unreasonable time.. can you imagine going on a nice family picnic in the sussex countryside one sunny sunday afternoon and you suddenly stumble accross 100 ravers and a phat sound system? I saw that happen may bank holiday.. i thought that took the piss abit.

Blackrock on the other hand… I dunno whats going on there.. its such a central location and always attracts chavs and fights. the last couple of times ive been ive seen some pretty horrible things… its only a matter of time before the parties at blackrock will be shut down
