Its never been about ball busting or man hating but of course that one inevitable side effect (as the fight against apartheid would of carried a lot of white hating)

You cant deny feminism is a wonderful thing; Its given us equal pay, allowed us to vote, given us the rights to education and given us legal aid for violence/ rape.
Although its made superb progress we still have a long way to go to achieve full equality (especially socially)

– even in our developed western culture woman face many issues due to chauvinism and misogyny. – Some men still believe in objectifying woman and some woman believe they can be objectified.
This attitude ranges from the extreme (gang rape) to not not so extreme. (Getting shouted at / leered at in the street.)
Its not nice , its scary and its humiliating.

Feminism challenges that, which is why people such as myself and chelly vehemently defend it.
Not only this but (believe it or not ) we DO want gender equality for the bests interests for men too 🙂 – fathers for justice ECT

-we should ALL support it whether it effects your sex or not.
In the same way we should be supporting gay rights and fighting fascism

From the bottom of my heart with ever ounce of integrity and sincerity I posses, I say that if anyone does not support feminism, racial equality and gay rights I cannot respect them.
Just articulating my previous rambles in a clear and simple way.

I could say a lot about her posts but I would never say they where nonsensual. – They seemed pretty concise to me.
If you examine the word ‘pride’ – in this context being proud of something would mean you have achieved something through a struggle.
You can be proud of blacks for fighting apartheid and woman for fighting oppression. (all generalised of course)
I’m proud of my child for walking even though its not really ‘my achievement’

There has been a lot of misunderstanding on both parts here. That happens with internet debates I’m afraid. Its often easy to get crossed messages.
