  • Don’t like coke one bit. Always seems to turn me into a self centered bastard, in the long run.

Although i’d be interested to mix it with acid.

doesnt really do that much when mixed with cid, can sort of sobre you up or bring you down. can be useufull if you start to get a bit paranoid or go on a bad one as it sort of gives you a bit of confidence, same as getting pissed i guess. Not as good as valium for stopping a trip going bad tho… 😉
I find 2cb and K the best combination, just the actual sniffing of the k sends the visuals of the 2cb on a proper mad one…

    act like bees on coke.

    Science amazing stuff really

They are highly social, adhere to a rigid class system and are intensely house-proud. And now it emerges that bees resemble human beings in one more, previously overlooked, respect: they behave just like us under the influence of cocaine.

Australian researchers found that bees which had been given a dose of cocaine threw themselves into unusually energetic dance routines, felt compelled to “talk” to their nest mates – and even went “cold turkey” when the drugs ran out.

The research, carried out at Macquarie University in Sydney, examined the behaviour of the bees after returning from a trip looking for food.

“When foraging honeybees discover a particularly good source of pollen or nectar, they fly back to the hive and perform a symbolic dance for their nest mates,” said Dr Andrew Barron. “This is a specialised form of communication to tell their nest mates about the rewards they have found.”

But after dabbing low doses of cocaine on the bees’ backs before they went out, the researchers observed that when they returned they were more likely to dance for their nest mates, and performed particularly vigorous routines explaining where the food was located.
The dance language gave Barron and his colleagues an indication of what was going on in the bees’ brains. Rather like a cokehead in a crowded nightclub, cocaine made the bees much more enthusiastic communicators. This was not simply because they were generally more energetic: the extra enthusiasm was in order to communicate with nest mates.

    ah, poor cold turkey bee’s

i wonder how much of the product that was supposed to end up on bees actually ended up the researchers noses

all of it, i bet… *scrabbling round a week later, with headaches “fuck, we better make up some results or there’ll be questions asked”

    :surprised

swim did jury duty onece and one of the cases was some one caught with some coke … and when the police came in to show the evidence they were all sniffing and rubbing there noses and told the cort that the evidence had gone missing .. lmfao:you_crazy:laugh_at:

i read this report Honey bees on cocaine dance more, changing ideas about the insect brain.

    Quote:
Foraging honey bees on cocaine are more likely to dance

The dance is also an important tool for understanding social behavior in animals – in particular altruism, the “social glue” in all societies, including our own, he said.
Robinson’s interest in the waggle dance led him to study octopamine, a neurochemical known to be important to insect behavior – particularly in regard to movement and eating.

so they not only dance, they get munchies too …

Cocaine in humans works on the dopamine system, which is a related neurotransmitter so it’s interesting to research parallel but different biological systems.

I had some really weird nosebag a couple days ago. A mate told me it was rocket fuel so was obviously was well up for it. Anyways opened it up and had a sniff, smelt like it had been left in a fucking mechanic’s garage. Had a really strong smell of like diesel or petrol. Fucking tasted minging as well, was quite strong stuff but tasted bloody awful and left a very nasty after taste!

anyone ever had stuff like this before? :hopeless:

sometimes its brought in, in fuel tanks, could have got contaminated if the bag had a hole in or something, or when they make it i think they use petrol (not sure) might not have been washed out properly. Ive had stuff like that before tho.. :crazy_diz

    yeah not the best.

Most of the diesel and petrol smelling compounds are pretty volatile – leave it out of the bag and allow them to evaporate off maybe?
