Another post on Acid My mum used to do acid years ago when she was younger, and before I started taking it she told me that when she did it she was hallucinating things such as her boyfriend looking like a skeleton, being able to stretch her arm out of the window, and making candle sticks walk across the room... basically seeing things that were not there, and the usual 'laughing for hours and hours till it hurts, and then laughing about the fact it hurts' thing.
Whenever I've done acid, I've never had proper hallucinations like she has described, how many other people have described, and how Drugs education teachers described. When I took my first tab, I expected to be seeing all these weird and wonderful things - pink elephants and all that crap people talk about.
All I ever get with tabs and with liquid drops of acid, is everything looks colourful and patterny - slightly trippy I suppose... perceiving things differently (rather than actually seeing somethings not there)... such as being able to make out proper shapes in the clouds, or being able to make faces in the patterning in trees, or making out shapes of things in the way trees and bushes are arranged, or seeing an object and being able to percieve it in many different ways, things looking slightly tribal, the 'staring at things, especially your reflection' thing, alongside the laughter thing... etc etc.
When I told my Mum this she was suprised and said maybe the stuff I've had in the past isn't really that strong. But I dunno, the liquid drops I've had physically felt strong - but I've never seen anything that wasn't there like I expected to.
It's the same with shrooms.
I thought people may have just over exaggerated about their experiences of hallucinating these "pink elephants" when theyve taken shrooms or acid... but then because my Mum has tried it and talks to me about it, obviously I trust her account on her trip.
So yeah, wondered what anyone else though? =/ lol
I love acid, but would have loved it even more with all these crazy things people talk about they've seen lol!!
Bloody Bank Charges! I have just got back from Thailand and looking at my bank statement I have come to realise that I have been charged 30 quid to draw MY money out! Is this not classed as being unjusified? I meen what difference does it make to them that I am using a cash point in another country? I realise that you can claim back money from cheques being overdrawn etc, but does this count as one those ridiculous charges! I don't understand why I have to pay for MY OWN MONEY! :you_crazy This happend to anybody else?

As the ‘War On Terror’ boils over into a greater regional war across the entire Middle and Near East it is time to move beyond the comfort zone of A-B demonstrations (important as they are) and towards more direct confrontation and opposition to our own illegal military state.
The DAAW message board was initially created in Jan 2003 to protest the arrival of US B52 Bombers to RAF Fairford, U.K, from where Iraq was then carpet-bombed. Since then the message board has become home to a wide range of Direct Action related campaigns and protests.
DAAW is a well moderated e-group. Most events or actions which are asking more than just the signing of another petition, or which are more than another march from point A to point B, will be considered for approval as a form of Direct Action.

++ IMPORTANT – POLICE TRY TO BAN DEMONSTRATION ++
On Monday 8 October the Stop the War Coalition will be marching from Trafalgar
Square to Parliament calling for all troops in Iraq to be brought home now.
After a series of relatively co-operative meetings, the police now say they
have been instructed not to allow the march to take place and that all
demonstrations are banned within a mile of Parliament whilst in session under
legislation dating from 1839.
This is a new development which threatens our democratic rights. When Gordon
Brown became prime minister he promised to liberalise the laws on protest,
saying that one of his principles would be, "civil liberties safeguarded and
enhanced". Government ministers, including Gordon Brown, have lined up to
support the right to protest in Burma. It is important that these same
ministers also defend the rights of people in this country to protest
peacefully.
We are determined to march to make our views known to parliament on 8 October,
when Gordon Brown will make his long awaited statement on Iraq. We urge
everyone who opposes the war policies of our government to join the call for
all British troops to come
home immediately and to help defend our civil liberties now under attack. We
have produced a petition calling on the authorities to review the decision to
ban the march. Yesterday Tony Benn, president of the Stop The War Coalition,
delivered a letter to the Home Secretary confirming that the demonstration
would be going ahead and calling for the police to back down. Details of this
letter can be seen at: http://www.stopwar.org.uk/
SIGN THE PETITION ONLINE aimed at defending our right to protest peacefully.

THEY ARE A UK SIZE 8/9
I've had these a while, they're well worn... I was given them ages ago but they were two sizes too big for me!! Couldn't part with them cos loved em so much lol, however I'm not into pink anymore so there's not much point having them and things cos I don't wear em.
DAMAGE: the soles are well worn. so I've put some new ones in for you to have extra comfiness and stuff. =]
There are a few marks and scuffs on them, but nothing bright pink nail polish can't cover!! You can't see them anyway unless you look really closely.
They were bought for 62 pounds, so am wanting to sell them at 35 or best offer really. I also need to work out how much shipping will cost, but I'm willing to meet up and give them to you if you're around where I hang out and stuff.
Yep =]
