Shambala uncovered Well, I had a lovely time, the woods was AMAZING and I saw lots of friends and had a good old dance every night, but...
I didn't see any of you lot there at all!
Did you all have a good time? Any of you manage to meet up?
This is me...
Ta! Thanks to all who came and suported our wee party on sat 25th. We had lots of problems (amps & our party line going down) we ended up with half the sound & half the people we expected.
Still we got around 50 sound people in a beautiful spot and partyed till 2pm sunday. We got a visit from 2 sound policemen sunday morning who politly refused cups of tea packets of crisps.
Was good to meet Southcaver who poped in to say hello bfore going to Tower of Powers doo (you should of stayed longer it pcked up).
Ta all @ AHC.
Help finding wooden posts. Hello, anyone know where I can get some of those rounded posts that kids play equipment is made out of?
I've had a search and not come up with much.
I'm in the North East, but Notts would be good also. Thanks, D.
East End Valley Festival. Anyone go
I had a good time, went up with my daughter in the day, took her home at about 8.30. Then got some pills and went back. Pills gave me no energy but major euphoria so stood around bouncing gently.:crazy_dru
Was There Anything To Worry About? All week on net forums there's been this 'we're doomed' attitude after the Norfolk incident. Yet there's evidence on here that 4 smallish parties happened and were all relative successes.
I think what its down to is the way parties are run and who attends them weather they get busted. The way we do it is keep it small, don't take the piss and if the old bill do turn up be friendly and do what they say. If they turn up and don't see a problem 99% of the time they will ask you to turn it down and be gone by lunch time next day.
If they turn up and see aggressive balloons and uncooperative organisers they will bust you...
God Damn Pc’s As some of you may have already seen my PC died the other day.. i kept getting the blue screen of death and through process of elimination its the PSU and the Chip.. its fried...
This meant that i couldn't do my show on friday or cover FA's as planned my apologies for this..
I have ordered new parts to build a shiney new pc and they should all arrive from e-buyer during the week.. but with work and everything i won't have it built in time to do my show this coming friday...
I'm only able to access the net now coz Satyr's nice mum lent us her old laptop as she has a shiney pc that we built her a few months ago..
So apologies for the lack of radio.. am gutted as me an satyr both have new records we are dying to play...
But we will be back with a beast of a pc in a week or so..
Blue Dawn Party, Blue Dawn, on sat 26th went well. Thank you to Kentish Mischief for bringin down their rig, to Omniscience for lending us their drapes, and to everybody that came along.
The only slight hitch was when we ran out of petrol, but we had a good result from sussex police who were very resonable and didn't even come down to the site until we had packed nd cleared up.
Have got a few pictures that i will upload when i work out how. Please put yours up if you were snaping away, and have a good day!

KE : "Sexist" monkeys harrass village women, steal crops… ooo-ooo-ooo!
A troop of vervet monkeys is giving Kenyan villagers long days and sleepless nights, destroying crops and causing a food crisis.
Earlier this month, local MP Paul Muite urged the Kenyan Wildlife Service to help contain their aggressive behaviour.
But Mr Muite caused laughter when he told parliament that the monkeys had taken to harassing and mocking women in a village.
But this is exactly what the women in the village of Nachu, just south-west of Kikuyu, are complaining about.
