like is this not commonn everywhere A POWERFUL form of the killer dance drug ecstasy has been found in a Leeds nightclub for the first time, the Yorkshire Evening Post can reveal.
Crystal MDMA, four times the strength of a typical tablet, was found in a police raid on a club which lost its licence this week.
Police today said they were shocked by the discovery of the drug at the Northern Light club in the city centre's Cross York Street and feared that it will be available in others.
Purity
This is the first time crystal MDMA has been found by police in
Leeds.
Analysis of the drug found dumped at Northern Light found that its purity level was about 82 per cent, compared to the 20 per cent of a typical ecstasy tablet.
Police believe the extra-strong drug could kill those used to taking the milder tablet.
Crystal MDMA has the same effects as conventional ecstasy, but is much more rapid, kicking in to raise heart rate and blood pressure after several minutes instead of the usual half an hour.
Normal ecstasy users cope with the drug by rehydrating with water instead of alcohol, but are very unlikely to have an ability to cope with the crystal form.
Failure to rehydrate can be fatal, causing heart attacks and other reactions.
The crystal ecstasy drug recovered from Northern Light is being marketed at about £40 per gram, compared with just £2.50 per tablet of conventional E.
Det Insp Tony Kaye of West Yorkshire Police said he was very disturbed by the discovery of the crystal MDMA, which stands for methylene dioxy methamphetamine.
He appealed for anyone with information about drug supplies and dealing to ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Yesterday the YEP reported the Leeds Licensing Sub-Committee refused to renew Northern Light's temporary licence after objections from the police.

So who went for a drive last night? We certainly did! Drove to the first venue.That was no good, full of pikeys with chainsaws!! Next venue was no good think there was pikeys there aswell! so off we trekked down the motorway to what turned out to be, a venue that was busted heavy a couple of weeks ago.(so im told anyway) That was busted before even all the rigs got there. why bother leading everyone to a venue that hot? I think one rig went back to the hills and done a party near home. Did anyone have a party after all of that? Hope someone had some fun.12
site blocking and proxy servers hello all,
i have recently started helping at a youth centre that has internet access in hampshire. the filtering of sites for the centre is the same one that is applied to schools and libraries, and various vital sites are blocked from use.
myspace = essential networking with young people
erowid.org = essential drugs information
google image = we are a creative media centre, yet cannot access a basic image source
ironically enough, some pron sites, and squatjuice are both unfiltered.
i have asked for explanations from education IT but they are lazy, backward thinking arseholes and refuse to be engaged in a debate about the role of youth work, and how it is different form schools, therefore should be on its own filtering. (basically, both coputers are in full view of everyone else, including staff at all times, so supervision is tight, plus our role is very different to schools in that we encourage young people to let us know if they are doing drugs, fucking each other etc, so we can confront the problem, i could go on...)
i have heard of the use of proxy servers can mean we can get round these difficulties, can anyone explain what these are and where i can find them?
also i know that globalloon has experience with dealing with bloody-minded council workers and wondered if he would share some advice form experience.

just a few of me mates want to try ecstasy, and i reckon MDMA powder put in capsules would be much better than a pill containing random shit!
only problem is pills are everywhere but round here many aint to be seen, might have to travel across to manchester just to source some decent drugs! also need to stock up before glastonbury!

Disarm DSEI From the 11th September til the 14th international arm dealers will descend on London once again funded of course by the tax payer. The plan, to try to stop and disrupt them from even getting there.
