2007: Everyone I know going tofu clean Okay, I dunno if there's some weird mind control or some new fad, but 100% of all my friends are swearing off doing anything FUN, becoming puritans, turning to God, and denying all stimulants and "evil" repetitive music.
I'm not kidding!!! I'm left all alone, and I can't get mashed up all alone!
I need a new crew!

Letter bomb in London
Quote:
A woman has been taken to hospital after police were called to deal with a suspect package at premises in central London.
BBC Home Affairs correspondent Daniel Sandford said what was thought to be a "letter bomb" was found at the Capita building in Victoria Street, Victoria.
Bomb disposal experts are at the scene. London Ambulance said the female employee had suffered minor injuries.
The main road outside the building was closed off with a cordon set up.
The scene is just 200 yards from Scotland Yard's headquarters.
A police spokesman said: "We were called at around 0940 this morning to reports of a suspect package at a business address in Victoria Street.
"A female employee has been taken to hospital with minor injuries."

A recent scientific study found that women find different male faces attractive depending on where they are in their menstrualcycle.
For example, when a woman is ovulating she will prefer a man with rugged, masculine features.
However when she is menstruating, she prefers a man doused in petrol and set on fire, with scissors stuck in his eye and a cricket stump shoved up his backside

Contraceptive pills over the counter?

Drug regulators are to consider making the pill available over-the-counter without a doctor's prescription.
Sexual health tests and medicines for controlling heavy periods will also be considered with the regulator saying it was keen to liberalise controls.

Three paedophiles who planned to rape two young girls they had targeted over the Internet were jailed for a total of 27 years on Monday in what police said was the first case in Britain to use cyber chat as evidence.
David Beavan, Alan Hedgcock and Robert Mayers used the Internet to put together their conspiracy to kidnap the two girls, aged 13 and 14, take them to woods and rape them.
Detective Constable Dave Adams, from the Metropolitan Police's Child Abuse Investigation Command, said: "These three men took a step beyond fantasy and had actually identified the children they would target, the location where they would approach them and what exactly they planned to do to them.

I dont know the full ins and outs of the case but that they were convicted of intent to commit the offences makes me wonder if this case will be used as a precedent for other cases where no physical proof exists.
I accept that paedophilia is an emotive subject but I think it is being used as a smoke screen to set a precedent - normally you would need to commit a crime to be convicted of it.:you_crazy:you_crazy

Windows Vista I was walking around Pan tip. This is the big computer world in Bankok and some guys where talking about windows vista. So after several shop keepers advised me to upgrade and one of my friends also is doing his own P.R,I got thinking. I only wanted to buy a new 2 gig flash drive but I guess this is what you get walking around a computer place for too long and trying to find a good price.:groucho:

Epidemik Review for Feb 2nd, The Junction, Cambridge
Well what can I say? Where do I start? Oh yeh, at the beginning….Doh!
Firstly would like to say to all my friends that come out with me…..your all troopers! We love it! After playing boy racers on the A11 we finally got ther about 10.30 and the main room was on fire…..Vibes & Livelee kicking off the evening in a true hardcore way. And yes of course we would have like to have seen them play a bit later but they had another 2 gigs to attend to that night….am just grateful they were there!
First person I bumped into was good old Billy Bunter and of course he was getting balloonafied up(balloonafied is a new word for the Oxford Dictionary I hope?) at the stall, 2 balloons hanging out of his mouth at all times, and still able to hold down a conversation…pmsl! You know what Billy? You are a balloon!
But you are also an instigator and an innovator too, so glad we have you as a British DJ, you lead the way and we all follow. Was gutted because I was booked to play at the same time as him so didn’t really get to hear any of his set but I heard from lots of people that he rocked it.
The venue was filling up nicely as time progressed. What I love about nights like this is that your able to meet all your cyber-mates who you have only spoken to on-line but never had the pleasure of meeting in the flesh before, I met so many, a big thanks goes out to all the people who came and introduced themselves to me.
The upstairs room was heaving when I finally managed to drag myself away from the bar, Mr X had done a very good job of warming up the breakbeat massive. I enjoyed my set immensely……the crowd was soaking up the vibes and put a huge smile on my face all night! PS. They do a really good deal on the bar here at The Junction….4 beers for a tenner…lovely job.
DJ Upfront up next…..storming out some some happy hardcore classics…music to my ears. Lost another hour or so chatting away to so many lovely people/ravers..but Oh No!!!!.....Ratpack was on at now…..quickly dash down the stairs and catch the last 20mins of their set! OMG, the room was going for it big-time! Don’t care what anyone says about these guys, they are true entertainers and certainly know how to get the crowd going….MC Evenson is always so, so happy with a mic in his hand, and Lipmaster Mark a very special professional!
Ratpack Live on Stage

Next up was Tango & Ratty……..in a proper jungle techno style these guys played some tunes, had been looking forward to seeing them play at Cambridge…cos Cambridge just don’t see these kind of line-up’s on a regular basis….and Tango & Ratty certainly didn’t let us down…they had the crowd eating out of the palm of their hand from start to finish.
Food Junky and Devious Dee, Danish Mike and all did a tremendous set as well, just wish I could have been in 3 places at once this night. A big-up to all the other DJ’s too…Dribz, , Upfront, Dave Skywalker, Flipside, ESP, Ben-J, Mikee P, Synpa, Trix and of course not forgetting the might MC’s 3Flow, Strict, 5alive,Flexemus, Doc-E, Livewire, Spenno, Jonny Kash and Rizla Dizla.
Don’t forget…..if you ever want to come to serious rave where the people are there for the music and the love, then Epidemik is the place to be….and they make it quite obvious that are not in it for the money but purely for the party factor….every gig they have done over the past few years has always been £10 or under…you just cant beat those prices……wont go on about the line-up’s for the next 2 events they have up and coming, check out the flyers for more details. And I also know that Grant, the man behind these events, would like to personally say thanks to every single one of you that has shown your support over the years, if wasn’t for you all…Epidemik would’nt exist.
