Hey – New guy Steve here Hi, I'm new here in the east tn area and glad to find this site. Hoping to chat and also find some locals to hang with. 45 yr old white guy here. :-)
Seeking participants in Northern Rivers, NSW, Australia for study on drug dependence Hi there,
I'm a researcher based at Curtin University's National Drug Research Institute (NDRI) in Melbourne, Australia. Iâm involved with a study that explores peopleâs experiences of living with an alcohol or other drug (AOD) habit, dependence or addiction, including how they make decisions about drug use, drug treatment and everyday life. We're now seeking participants in Northern Rivers, New South Wales, Australia: Byron Bay, Ballina, Lismore, Mullumbimby or Nimbin.
Participation involves a confidential audio-recorded interview of about an hour and you will receive $50 for your time. The interviews will be conducted in a location of your choice in the Byron Bay area. The focus of the interview will be on living with and managing a drug habit/dependence/addiction, experiences of drug use, treatment experiences (where relevant), everyday life and feelings about the future. We're especially keen to talk to people who identify their primary drug as any one or more of the following:
Stimulants, e.g. ice, cocaine, speed, crack cocaine
MDMA
Prescription drugs, e.g. benzos, Valium, Xanax, serepax
Alcohol
The information we gather will be used to develop an informative website for members of the public, and health professionals and policy makers. âThis part of the study runs from October to December 2015 or until we have reached our target of ten participants. The study has been approved by the Curtin University Human Research Ethics Committee.
Anyone who is interested in participating or would like more information can contact me directly at Kiran.pienaar@curtin.edu.au or on 03 9079 2204. Thanks very much for your interest.
Best wishes,
Kiran Pienaar

Young lady from Australia Quick introduction - Currently been using the drug ICE *crystal meth for roughly 7 years give or take. I didn't start using because of emotional / life problems but ICE has become a love hate relationship I think it is about time I quit.
I have been to counselors, NA meetings, DR's and honestly they have done zero to help with getting clean. To be honest I'm getting a little tired of hearing ICE is a hell of a drug to get off *like seriously great attitude for setting me up to fail & the idea of swapping illegal drug to legal drug doesn't sit well with me.
Anyway I decided to start personal blog about how I'm going to get of this drug - with details about my experience, feelings, emotions, health and so on. I will add research from various DR's opinions along the way. Maybe my experience will help someone else or maybe I can start a support network with my personal blog.
I have just recently started facebook welcome to add me if above is of interest to you email is TodayCounts1984@gmail.com - type that into facebook I'm sure it will come up
Looking forward to my challenging recovery

DE / FI : Boffins build a Euro-stingray Whilst the USA device can work in Europe; it not only looks like something from 40 years ago and would cost a lot - most likely there is only one in the UK which Metpol NCA and Police Scotland have to share between them.
in any area which isn't a complete shithole/ghetto it would cause many modern phones being used online to drop their connections and people would notice this...
However the folk below have made a 3/4G version of the device.
Their University is part funded by Deutsche Telekom; at least they are still investing in training over there...
Mobile communication systems now constitute an essential part of life throughout the world. Fourth generation "Long Term Evolution" (LTE) mobile communication networks are being deployed. The LTE suite of specifications is considered to be significantly better than its predecessors not only in terms of functionality but also with respect to security and privacy for subscribers.
We carefully analyzed LTE access network protocol specifications and uncovered several vulnerabilities. Using commercial LTE mobile devices in real LTE networks, we demonstrate inexpensive, and practical attacks exploiting these vulnerabilities. Our first class of attacks consists of three different ways of making an LTE device leak its location: A semi-passive attacker can locate an LTE device within a 2 sq.km area within a city whereas an active attacker can precisely locate an LTE device using GPS co-ordinates or trilateration via cell-tower signal strength information. Our second class of attacks can persistently deny some or all services to a target LTE device. To the best of our knowledge, our work constitutes the first publicly reported practical attacks against LTE access network protocols.
We present several countermeasures to resist our specific attacks. We also discuss possible trade-offs that may explain why these vulnerabilities exist and recommend that safety margins introduced into future specifications to address such trade-offs should incorporate greater agility to accommodate subsequent changes in the trade-off equilibrium

Arthur Cave – so sad, so unnecessary :-( This story is so, so sad :-( I know that windmill and setting: way bad place to go tripping for a first time. Be safe always.
