Charity cake spiked with cannabis
Three children were taken to hospital after their grandmother gave them cakes from a cancer charity stall without knowing they were spiked with cannabis.
The children, aged five, four and 14 months, felt giddy and spent six hours under observation in a Swansea hospital. Two people were arrested.
Their grandmother, who has not been named, bought half-a-dozen cakes at a charity event at a Port Talbot hotel.
Police said the charity knew nothing about where the cannabis came from.
She was told that the cakes may have contained a special ingredient and only meant to be sold to people who were specifically aware what was in them

The grandmother gave the cakes to her daughter after taking them home from an event at the Dunes hotel in the Sandfields area, which was selling a wide-range of food to raise money for charity.
Det Insp Wayne Thomas, of South Wales Police, said: "Some time later her daughter and three grandchildren ate the cake and started to feel queasy.
"The children's mother rang the hotel and said 'what was in those cakes? We're all feeling funny'.

"She was told that the cakes may have contained a special ingredient and only meant to be sold to people who were specifically aware what was in them.
"It was then the family realised they may have been laced with cannabis."
The children were detained at the accident and emergency department of Singleton Hospital.
"Fortunately, they were not in any danger and there will be no lasting effects," said Det Insp Thomas.
Two people arrested on suspicion of the possession and supply of drugs were released on police bail for three weeks.
Det Insp Thomas said: "We are anticipating further arrests and our investigations are continuing."
"I would emphasise that the charity had no knowledge of the incident and was not involved in any way."

Roskilde Festival Denmark Has anyone been to the Roskilde Festival? If so what did you think of it/what was the travelling like? I've never been to a festival abroad and seeing as the tickets for next years festival are on sale from 1st December i've managed to convince the boyfriend that we're buying eachother tickets to go next year as Christmas presents (and there's no Glasto, sob!). :bounce_ci

Alert : KDW’s truck stolen for those of you who know KDW he's one of the "rave veterans" of the Thames Valley and doesn't deserve this...
I'm also going to make a very un-PC statement (for me) on this board- in that area where the van disappeared, there have been a number of gypsies... I can't help but put 2 and 2 togehter
KDW himself is a good example of a someone with a positive traveller lifestyle - he's always worked to get what he owns and never done major crime etc
but if todays gypsy travellers steal off other travelling people like that then quite frankly they deserve all the ASBOs and evictions and I'm not surprised their lifestyle is being deemed unacceptable..
not like me to sound like a Tory but KDW is a good friend of mine over the years - things were just starting to go right for him after some hassles in life as well :(

It isa nicotene cream colour with a 20ft box on the back. It has two unusual ramps on it from it's days as a hard sided car transporter. I expect these have been wheighed in by now as they where alumininium. You may recgonise it cos it wasthe old ToM truck.

Our first person on our agender is our new bi monthly resident Marcus Rich, Marcus has just been handed his 1st residency by the Techstlye crew after showing us that he has the talent to play a range of styles across the techno genre and is passionate for the music.
Our 2nd guest this month is a very special and talented dj who I recieved a demo from and could not believe that she hadn't played out before, so this will be her debut set and if you a promoter or a clubber who wants to see someone new to listen to then you need to hear this girl play. Her name is DELUKA (aka Gurngirl)
Our 3rd guest for the month is another fast up & coming female on the London techno scene NEATS, her name is being seen on flyers all across the north & south London and yet has only been playing out for a short while. Her technical skills are superb!

XTC : Blue Smiley Face Wondering if anyone could enlighten me as to what cpuld of possibly been in it because Im quite sure there was dick all mdma in it. I necked a white double cherry and was buzzin my tits off to some intelligent Drum N bAss. Then It got to about 3 and I necked this blue smiley face thing and it turned into a weird trippy buzz felt right out of place and real set back in my mind pure spaced out. Wasnt feelin the buzz at all. My other mates bought two and only necked the blue ones and had the exact same weird buzz. The next day I was on a right weird one all day. Brainscan Norwich Shutdown BBC news reported the shutdown of one of suffolk/norfolk's biggest systems, pointing out an injured hand that a police officer, they failed to point out that they did this attempting to break down a barrier, around 100 people refused to let the police confiscate the system. They also failed to point out they had injured a 16 year old girl hitting her on the head with a baton, they were aggressive on arrival, and once one idiot who was there was aggressive back, they took that as a response from all the people who were there. This is untrue. Everybody tried to stop them taking the system by making a ring round it and sitting on it. The treatment of those involved by the police was appauling. Also shut down that night was bangazandgash, but this was done without any violence, they had only been going ten minutes (yeah, really) and although they had reciepts, the police were convinced the generator was stolen!
