The most intense urge of my life In all my life I had never had such an intense urge to just stop breathing and go to sleep. It started out one afternoon around 4:00 at a party. I started drinking. First I had a beer. Then a Mike's hard lemonade. Next I started taking shots and drinking alot more beer. After I was done drinking, I took one ecstasy pill. I started rolling face after 1/2 an hour. It was fun like usual. I have done ecstasy about 20-25 times before and every time I had only taken one pill. This time I decided to take more. I took 1/2 of another pill. Then I said screw it-I'll take another one. I smoked 2 blunts and 6 bowl packs. Half way through smoking everything started to morph. I didn't realize it because I was messed up. I went to the bathroom. Everything started moving slower and slower. I looked in the mirror and said I "I think I need help" in my head and the words echoed. Everything around me started to dim. From then on every word I said echoed and my entire vision was dimmed. I stumbled out of the bathroom and was swirving back and forth down the hall. I ended up in the kitchen. I didn't notice all the people around me screaming for help. I started to stop breathing. I couldn't hear or talk anymore. My temperature rose up into the 100's and I felf so cold. I lost touch with reality. I had to force myself to breathe. Every time I did find reality, it was only for about 2 seconds and every time all i could say was "something bad just happened". They layed me down. My eyes were forcing me to close them but every time I did, I got the most intense urge to stop breathing and go to sleep. So I screamed at everyone not to let me go to sleep. Those were the last words I said for the rest of the night. One girl tried to feed me but I couldn't swallow. It was like my throat had closed up. I immediately stumbled into ther back yard to throw up. But alll that came out was the food and nothing else. They told me to walk around outside because I kept losing my breath. Two girls took me inside and forced me to throw up in the toilet. All the water I was drinking came out. I started passing out. They held my jaw open and poured water into me. They forced me to throw up again. They poured wated down my throat again. They repeated this three other times. The girls put me in the shower which was a bad idea. I lost my breath quicker and had to close my eyes when the water hit me which gave me the urge again. Finally they layed me down again. I was literally trippin. I felt like I was on shrooms. People had to take turns watching me because I kept stopping breathing and having whole body spasms. Two hours of staring at the ceiling and going to the bathroom and drinking water, I calmed down. For two days after that, I couldn't sleep because I was afraid the urge was going to come back and I was going to die in my sleep. What caused all of this?

A CAR in the hands of someone deprived of sleep can be as deadly as a random bullet.
This is the heartfelt warning from Arpad Gemes, whose wife was killed by a driver who fell asleep at the wheel.
The young driver had not slept for 25 hours before the crash, and had been to an all-night rave party.
According to police evidence, in the 101 hours leading up to the November 1999 crash, he'd slept on and off for a total of just 20 1/2 hours.
"Just don't do it," said Mr Gemes, who yesterday helped launch the TAC's new campaign on the dangers of driving while fatigued.
Attorney-General Rob Hulls said that every year 20 per cent of fatal crashes in Victoria involved fatigue, causing about 70 deaths and almost 500 serious injuries.
Mr Gemes and his wife, Kathryn, were walking along Whitehorse Rd when a car suddenly veered across one lane, mounted the footpath and crashed into the couple.
Kathryn Gemes was crushed against a brick fence and died soon afterwards. Her husband was seriously injured and taken to Box Hill hospital.
The driver was charged with culpable driving causing death and negligent driving.
But he walked free after a County Court judge ruled there was insufficient evidence to support the contention he knew he was in danger of falling asleep at the wheel.
He did not even lose his driver's licence.
Mr Gemes, a Mont Albert architect, immediately campaigned to have the legislation overhauled, writing to Mr Hulls and to the Office of Public Prosecutions.
Mr Hulls ordered a review of the legislation, which resulted in the Crimes (Dangerous
Driving) Bill. The Bill will soon go before State Parliament.
He said the Bill would create a new offence of dangerous driving causing death or serious injury, punishable by up to five years' jail, and amend the Crimes Act to ensure that driving while fatigued could constitute culpable driving causing death.
"This legislation is in response to community concerns the existing law of culpable driving causing death does not adequately deal with drivers who cause fatal accidents when they fall asleep at the wheel or drive when drowsy," he said.
"There should be no question that driving while drowsy is a dangerous and potentially criminal act."
Mr Gemes, 53, suggested that driver education programs should include the dangers of getting behind the wheel while fatigued or deprived of sleep.

Honestly ESP came at a very hard time...Urban had just ended and we had to do some reorganizing of the people we worked with. Greg and I started East Side to just throw quality parties with the best talent possible in smaller more intimate venues...we decided to have as much fun doing it as possible and just not take it so seriously as we had in the past. Well, as you can see this has worked and we are sooo happy with how the last year has turned out.
We have worked with some of the most incredible artists over the last year(the list is waaay too long to write) and have thrown some of the best parties we have ever done. Cellar Bar Fridays, Le Souk Wednesdays, events at award winning Cielo, the Canal Room, Mannahatta and more...

One of the best known and most loved trance open air festivals will be taking off from July 22nd until July 24th. We are very pleased to announce that the location will be the same for the fifth time in a row: Putlitz in Northern Germany, located right between Hamburg and Berlin. gimme the 411 on psilocybin cubensis ok i was pulling into my friends drivway and what caught my attention was a small patch of about 10 mushrooms. lately ive been looking at these on erowid. these looked EXCATLY alike. i wanted to take them all and check them out. but i remember reading sometimes there are deadly look-a-likes. i know that if you flick it or sumthing and turn blue, it means they will fuck you up, but they can also be deadly. i REALLY wanna trip balls on mushrooms, but i cant find an authorized dealer and theyre illegal in the US of A, so i cant buy a grow-kit. please tell me the main ways to tell if its toxic...what'd you do when finding a wild mushroom. im in the southeast US, if u were wondering.
