Where are the free parties I've been living in London now for almost six months. I came from the north, sheffield. Over the summer i went to some extremley fantistic parties. I've only just recovered. I was led to believe that London has pretty good sound system parties (free). But I can't find them. And as I have now just recovered, i need to rave and meet Londoner like minded ravers.

Houghton Woods Rave Hi, I've never posted on your forum before, and I'm sure that you won't let me do it again, but I wanted to give you all some feeedback from the Whiteways / Houghton forest rave over the bank holiday. I live about 5 miles from the site you chose, and it was impossible to sleep. I drove up there to see what was going on and was told that I wasn't welcome and that I should leave or be forced to. I went back up there again once the ravers had all gone and the place was a state - broken glass, rubbish, human excrement, bottles, cans old blankets, burn marks etc. I am a young person, but I don't think that what you are doing is right, though I doubt this will stop you.
That bloody awful music blared out ALL NIGHT. The place was trashed, and I know for a fact that you were on private property without permission. I would have liked to see the police come and stop that rave, but for some reason they didnt. I hope if you come back they do the lot of you for making too much noice, trespass, littering, check the roadworthynes of your crusty old busses, posession of canabis (the place stank) and whatever else drugs you all use. Next time I will make sure that gate stays locked and keep you lot out of the woods that are not yours. Get back to the cities and use an old warehouse, but stop coming out into the countryside and messing it up. You are not welcome.123

EU : Attention : dangerous caterpillars spotted in *UK* I have been advised by a work colleague (who is always talking about plants and gardening) that a friend of his spotted the dangerous "chenilles urticantes" or hairy caterpillars with allergy-causing "fur" on a plant of his in the UK (just when I thought it was safe over here).
Luckily this chap was a zoologist so recognised them and sprayed the plant immediately to kill all these nasties. He is in the SE of the UK and I would expect the creatures came over during the hotter part of summer.
it seems there are several kinds of these, the worse ones are in Europe but even those which can turn up in England are nasty if touched.
With increasing global warming its possible that more of these creatures may turn up in the UK, either through imported plants from elsewhere in the EU or just from flying over as butterflies (its only 20km between Dover and Calais).

Apart from indirect damage to Man, lepidoptera are harmless except for some members of the moth Family Lymantriidae (Tussock Moths). Their larvae are clothed in hairs and these can prove very irritant to human skin. If any of the hairs come into contact with the face it can cause severe swelling and may close up eyes. The message is to be wary of hairy caterpillars!
