Whats the craic for Manchester? Alright people, i'm new to the board so thought i'd say hello and try to get to grips with all the info. available.
I'm based in Manchester and not had much involvement with the free party scene up to now but definitely wanna get out there and get on some of this sh*t!!
So, if anyone can help, as a general rule of thumb (as a party-goer), where are the free parties held in and around manchester (well, in the north west actually), who are the best people to contact to get info., how often do they happen.........
Any info. would be good :)

Just a question for everyone out there I just stumbled across this site and wanted to ask you people a question. I am from Saskatchewan, Canada and the scene over here has been dying out. There has been much effort, by myself and many other party enthusiasts, to keep the scene alive, and though every bit helps, it just isn't the way it used to be. I was just wondering how the scene was over there, or if the same thing was happening in other parts of the world.

Psychosis Sound System Update Psychosis Sound System now have a new home at http://cheekyhalf.net - This site contains all of the photos from the old site, plus additional ones taken along the way, plus..........
DJ MIXES are in the process of being uploaded at the moment and more will be added as time goes on. Styles will range from ambient to gabba, so fun for all the family.
NET RADIO will be running shortly, we are just finalising the server side stuff as we speak. Initially we will be running a few week nights and possibly a full on sunday session, for all you after-party animals.
EVENT LISTINGS will be posted regularly for a number of sound systems, club nights and smaller events as we get them.
THE PSYCHOSIS *FREE* PARTY SERVICE will be resumed once the weather allows. In the meantime we shall appear at the odd squat party and will also be running a funkychilled space at parties, under the name of CheekyFunk.
We have had threats made against us by the local constabulary regarding antisocial behaviour, we see it as anything but.
We shall be taking steps to make sure our parties impact as little as possible on our temporary neighbours this year, which includes sensible limiting of the size of soundsystems being used outdoors.
