I’m leaving the forum, and heres why. OK, so I started using this site in '12. At the time I had a baby, and I was really restricted to a social life and needed an outlet.
I found this forum and absolutely loved it. People welcomed me straight off, there was friendly banter, interesting posts and just an amazing community spirit.
If a member disappeared, everyone would get together and look for them (in one case we accidently thought psy fucked of to NL!)
When someone was depressed, we helped them out.
People arranged meet-ups and from my experience literally no meet-up went weird or awkward, we all hit it off.
The big difference in PV now and PV then, is that the majority of users now use this site as a platform for their own requirements, where as old PV people would use the site just to socialize.
Whether their requirement is finding a fuck buddy, selling sex shows, selling and finding drugs or advertising mixes, its more like a shop now than a pub.
Still, it is what it is, and there seems to be a lot of traffic and evidently this forum works for a lot of people.
So instead of pressuring change on the site, I think just leave it be and I wish you the best of luck.
