Yes. He used to give me shot bc I wasn’t a virgin
when we got married and he wanted to marry
a virgin. He was mislead abt this at v beginning
but was cleared up well before we got married
or he even proposed. But yes. Same type of thing
w hurt feelings and blaming me etc

sounds like a lot of old style religious / cultural / gender / control issues that affect males of “anglo saxon protestant” ancestry (even if they are not outwardly religious and claim to be “liberal thinking”); these cause a lot of problems the world over (including most of todays wars). There is unfortunately not a great deal you can do other than get away from these kind of relationships; or things will only get worse.

Sadly GL sounds to have things spot on and is the exact thing I was thinking myself. While we will always try be around to chat if you want advice or anything, unfortunately their isn’t a lot we can do to help you I’m afraid.
I do hope things turn out OK for you but I think the best thing for you may be a new husband who isn’t such a jealous egotistical pervert who can’t deal with problems of his own making.

Thank you. Both of you for your kind words and
advice. It helps to know I’m not totally crazy in feeling
a little blindsided by the divorce talk. I’m starting to realize
it’s probably over as hard as tht is for me to believe
and accept. Maybe it’s for the best but my heart is
breaking right now. I really thot we’d be together
forever (I know I’m dumb but I did)

You are certainly not dumb. Maybe the dumbest thing you did was be blindly in love. You certainly don’t deserve to be feeling the way you do and that it’s partly your fault because of some sad prick who wants to have fun with a 3rd party but is too rough to get himself the 3rd party.

Thank you. I share responsibility for the problem we have but he takes no blame for his role and makes like the whole reason were getting a divorce is bc of me and what I did. Like I did it behind his back or something. It hurts especially since there’s still love (a lot) on my end. If he txted right now and apologized I’d still take him back and I kinda hate myself for that too
