  • well the glade for me had certainly changed from a laid back hippy fest .. to a money spinning rave up for the youth .. and if it,s on next year cirtainly wont be getting my vote .. seems to me that the organisers are seeing it as a money spinner instead of a the basis of partying ..also with the absence of the old skool travellers it was over run with chavs..!! apart from that it was great.. lol .:you_crazy

    too right mate 😉

hoorar for those with a big nose ..:hopeless: .. i agree !!

the same question as “is glasto the same as it was” argument innit

no, but its still wickid (glasto i mean)

i’ll be at glade next year, so i’ll comment on my experience then. from what i’ve heard it’s proper sound tho

first time ive been, thought the mud was bad, so hard to get there, had really bad hangovers, but was the best time of my life, was such an adventure, met so many ppl, saw NO chavs at all, maybe i was looking in the wrong direction or they were behind me all the time, loved the atmos, not as busy (mainly cos of the wet) really good and got offered loadsa drugs (found so 2CB at last!) such a wicked time and boo! ur wrong

but glasto isnt wiked anymore .. i would say it`s a pile of shite .. comercial sold out to the media radio one fest .. and as time goes on it just gets worst..
    😥

oo sorry, yeah never been to glasto to be honest, but it sounds like an experiance, maybe its when u go to much it feels like its getting sold out, i think its doing better than reading, reading is a skank hole full of really horrible things going on, never again will i go to reading fest( oo maybe once more)

i wouldnt say its sold out. compared to leeds/reading, t-in-the-park, and especially v-fest, it’s barely sold out at all

the amount of posh kids there was a tad annoyin, but the ones i met were alrite (for posh kids)

i had a fucking brilliant time there anyway. worked shit loads to get there, and absolutely loved it. thats all that matters, innit?

well you are intitleld to your oppinion .. but is there anyone out there that is out of there twentys and has experienced some of the old skool festys and partys and give me there opinion .. as you teenagers dont know any different.. :groucho::argue_mad

    twat

plenty of people here have lived through that

but we can still judge whether something is good or not, since when do you need to be a certain age to enjoy something? it’s all down to personal experience innit – i know people who hated glasto this year. i know even more who loved it. you’re not gonna get an indefinite answer.

yeah i agree there …in the 80s 90 it was ok …then like a lot of stuff it got bigger an more an more people who could afford the ticket went ….the poorer person was out on his arse…every year for years my mates went an got in for nothing ….1990.i made it an it was ace ..camping right next to the stage…..now its all spread out an camping here …..bands on over in that field …..an having so many stages with gigs you wanna see going off at the same time just does not appeal to me …yes glastonburys a experience an there are sights to see…but its no way as good as it used to be….if you never went before you ll never know ……
festivals should be free…..yey! raaa lol……
